University law college is a part of Utkal University located in Bhubaneswar. It's is one of the prestigious law college of Odisha and also has developed to a good level in last few years . The college has established academic block and separate administrative block . Recently a new library and a moot court hall has been inaugurated by Honorable Chief justice of Odisha Justice Subhasis Talapatra . The administration has been very good and staffs and other faculties are very supportive.
Although University Law College is a separate college/department of Law for Utkal University, having both graduate and postgraduate studies, it still is comparatively small and also is outside the Utkal University main campus. Though the development is going on, it will take time in order to achieve its zenith.

It's a big no. Bar Council of India has already made it clear that the licence will not be issued for those persons who have done LL-B through distance education system and as such you cant become a lawyer so the degree is useless. But, Yes you can do various diploma and few degree courses through the distance mode offered in various specializations like MBL, Human Rights, IPR etc by many colleges.
