Degree wise Admission Process
LLB: The intake of 80 students for the LLB course of Lajpat Rai Law College is approved. Candidates are shortlisted strictly on merit by the Selection Committee for admission. Only the overall percentage of aggregate marks secured by the candidates in the qualifying exam (graduation) is the only criterion for selection. The college is entitled to decline admission of those candidates who fail to meet all the requirements for admission.
BBA LLB (Hons): This integrated 5-year program has an approved capacity of 60 students. Both written entrance test and career marking are considered for admission. The entrance test is worth 70 marks, while the career is worth 30 marks. The final merit list is drawn on 100 marks (entrance test + career marking). A candidate cannot be admitted in case of absence in either the written test or viva voce.
LLM: In case of LLM programme, students who have given the qualifying examination and are waiting for results are also eligible to apply. But in this case, such students will be required to bring the result of the qualifying examination on the day of the entrance test, or else their application for admission will be cancelled.
PGD Industrial Relationship and Personnel Management: This postgraduate diploma course has an authorized intake of 80 students. The selection process is the same as that of the LLB programme, strictly on merit as assessed by the Selection Committee. Aggregate percentage of marks achieved in the qualifying examination (graduation) is the only criterion for selection.
