My college is located in Vivek Vihar. It has a very environment friendly campus. The professors are very helpful and always available to help out students like me. It has all the necessary infrastructure to host all kinds of events, debates and cultural gatherings. The campus has a brilliant well-lit library which contains all course related books. The classrooms are big, clean and air-conditioned with advanced projectors. The campus does not have hostels but there are many PGs near the college. The campus also has a nescafe stall and a canteen which serves delicious food at an affordable price which the students make the best use of. The college has a well structured curriculum which is maintained for the entire year. The study material is provided by the professors and they make sure to teach us everything before the exam. The internals and externals are always conducted inside the campus which proves efficient for both the professors and the students. Students come from across the country to study in this esteemed university because it has maintained it's reputation everytime.
I am pursuing B.A Economics (Hons) at this university as I am keen to learn about how a country functions and how each individual is responsible for the state of a country. The quality of teaching at my university is excellent because they always follow the structured syllabus and it proves to be fruitful every year. The professors are very passionate about the subjects they teach and this is exactly what we need. I'm amazed how hardworking my professors actually are as they are always available for us, to clear any doubt we might have and this supports and motivates us to work even harder. Yes my curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field. Yes my study makes me job ready as we're taught practical knowledge as well as theoretical knowledge.
The quality of placements at my college is absolutely fantastic and it has been proven time after time. A large percentage of students get placed, approx 80-90% of the eligible batch gets placed and the highest CTC ranges between 15-18 LPA while the average package stays around 6-8 LPA. My college provides excellent opportunities and a strong platform for us to begin our careers.
One lakh, Sixteen thousand rupees
Classrooms & academic infrastructure — DTU has many classrooms (including ICT-enabled and air-conditioned ones) across departments, along with seminar halls and tutorial rooms. Laboratories & computing facilities — There’s a well-equipped central Computer Centre with hundreds of computers, strong LAN/WiFi across campus including hostels and academic blocks; labs and research facilities are available for various departments. Library / learning resources — DTU has a central, multi-floor air-conditioned library with a large collection of books, e-books, journals and digital resources; online access is provided. Sports, gym & extracurricular facilities — There are comprehensive facilities: outdoor grounds (football, cricket, hockey), running tracks, courts for basketball, tennis, volleyball, badminton, indoor-game facilities, gyms, and open/indoor gyms for fitness / yoga / recreation. Hostel & campus accommodation — Separate hostels for boys and girls, with a fairly large capacity. Some hostels offer modern amenities; campus-wide WiFi/LAN extends to hostels, allowing students to access online resources easily. Campus amenities — Campus includes health centre, canteens/food outlets, banking/post office, guest house — making it fairly self-contained.
When a course or college has high quality teaching and a relevant curriculum, you’d expect: Up-to-date curriculum: The syllabus matches current developments in the field — not outdated theory, but includes modern skills, tools, and real-world relevance. Effective teaching: Teachers or faculty who explain concepts clearly, help students doubt-solve, link theory with real applications, and encourage critical thinking or practical work. Balanced academics + practical exposure: Along with theory and exams, there are labs, projects, internships, workshops, and industry-relevant training. Good infrastructure and resources: Libraries, labs, good classrooms or smart-boards/computers — which support effective learning. Supportive environment: Faculty availability, mentoring, opportunities for extra-curricular learning, and a campus culture that values growth rather than just degrees.
Even when colleges are listed publicly: Placement percentages may refer only to “eligible students” (not entire batch), skewing real placement-rate. Many colleges or review sites present “optimistic” figures (high placement %, good packages) — but according to journalism on campus-job drives, “the average percentage of students placed” even in many top-ranked colleges can be below 64%. For management courses (MBA/PGDM), there is extreme disparity — some batches get 100% placements, others much lower.
My course costs ₹1,16,000 per year. Considering the overall learning experience, I would say I am partially getting my money’s worth. The fee is on the higher side, so naturally we expect strong teaching quality, updated curriculum, good lab/ classroom facilities, and active placement support. While some areas are satisfactory—such as the faculty’s effort and the academic environment—there is still room for improvement in terms of practical exposure, industry-relevant training, and placement opportunities. If these aspects become stronger, the value for money would feel much better
The campus might have reasonable infrastructure — classrooms, labs, maybe a library, hostel/hostel-like facilities. Good infrastructure tends to make daily life smoother: easier access to resources, quiet study spaces, stable internet, etc. If there are sports / recreation facilities, students can relax, keep fit, and pursue hobbies — this balances academic stress. For many colleges, sports, indoor/outdoor games, gym or similar space make campus life enjoyable. For instance, some institutions offer swimming pools, indoor gyms, various courts for games like badminton, basketball, etc. There could be extra-curricular and social opportunities — clubs, events, fests, cultural or technical gatherings — that help students bond, build soft skills, and enjoy a social life. Campus life isn’t all about studies; these activities can make it more vibrant and enriching. Many colleges emphasise that extracurriculars + sports + social life contribute to “holistic development.”
No
2 acres relatively short campus with no individual sports ground... however whole academic and non academic blocks are covered with air conditioners and more than enough maintainance staff . more or class rooms are high tech and spacious enough toh fill 100 students.college campus has its own 250 seater hall. Food options are Nescafe and college canteen with good food at affordable price.
I am currently pursuing ba eco hons because of great academic coverage in university approved syllabus and exceptionally expirenced college faculty. Some of the faculty are retired from iim iits and has teaching experience over 40+yrs. Moreover syllabus is generally revised in each 4 years making students market ready by occupying them current market demanded skills.
Relatively newer campus, so average package is relatively low as compared to delhi university north campus college..highest package for eco hons goes till 16 lpa while average is 4.5 lpa. Official placements records are available at DTU website. The college's training and placement cell is doing good , people are skilled and supportive enough to get students placed. However students prefer to go for higher study hence small portion of batch actually opt for placements.
The fees lies on the above side . For ba eco hons it's 116200 for 1 year i.e 2 semester (which is paid at once) making it relatively low value for money however raising placements will improve the condition in near future .
College campus is relatively smaller than average college of delhi University. Students have really worked hard to make societies active , now regularly fests and events are conducted within the campus making it supper safe with all the necessary precautions
usme dtu infra is top notch clean modern way better than any other college in delhi above all we have Air conditions(AC) in all our classes. well maintained library, good sport facilities and leisure
i m studying eco hons. the quality of teaching and curriculum of dtu is top notch . the curriculum is industry aligned, research focused and updated. profs here are from top institutes & very helpfull
though placement at usme is average but the brand reputation and alumni network is a big advantage. research projects are offered to students . students who are engaged in societies get good industry exposure.
yes it is value for money college
pretty campus but average campus life as the campus is really small
The Infrastructure is good..It has positive vibes all over the campus Wifi, smart boards everything is there and well-maintained Equipment care upon latest technologies Everything is maintained and hygiene
Quality of teaching is excellent take doubt, extra classes. Teachers are so supportive and caring. Curriculum include recent developments and make us job ready. I am doing Eco honor because I had interest in eco fields and teacher in eco honor are professional
Quality of placement are good but it is also depends on the student and everything Previous year placement is 60% Highest salary was around 11 lakh Average salary around 8 lakh Alumina connect is very strong
The University School of Management and Entrepreneurship (USME) is a fairly new campus of DTU. It is not as big as DTU main campus but maintained in a proper manner class rooms are big While there’s no hostel, students usually find PGs nearby without much trouble
It is quite good at Academics You’ll notice that classes aren’t just theory-heavy they try to bring in real-world examples and discussions. Whether it’s BBA, BA Economics, or MBA, the focus is on building your confidence, skills, and mindset.
Placement of MBA and Economics students get better opportunities than undergrads. And placement cell is active, and internships are very much encouraged. The average MBA and Economics package is decent, somewhere between ₹8–10 LPA Around somewhere.
University school of management and entrepreneurship which is comes under Delhi technical University has a clean and green campus.Hostels having gym and mess with hygienic food. There were a sports ground for cricket.classes are well maintained.
I currently enrolled in doctor of philosophy in specialisation with Business administration and management.I can definitely say that faculties are good.My guide is very helpful to me.Yes surely I became a assistant professor after completion of my PhD.
Placements are quite good for students who pursuing masters or bachelor's in Business management from there but for my batch who pursuing PhD so all students of our batch wants to be a assistant professor.
Good management
The college infrastructure is nice It is small in size but with spacious classrooms with air conditioning and good quality washrooms The university has big libraries with variety of books available for students
The quality of education is great with practical applied knowledge with students being friendly and teachers beings PhD holders and having experience in their respected fields .the overall education provided is good.
The placements rightnow are poor due to recession and companies recruitment from the college is also low Only fifteen percent of the students were placed in the university for the year of 2023 Let's hope it would be better for 2024
The overall value of money is there as in just five lakhs the whole MBA is being provided with quality experienced based knowledge providing with diverse thinking skills with great opportunities and others.
The overall campus life is fine with events to attend with various societies present in the college It is a great opportunity to communicate with others and this would help in others to communicate properly.
The overall experience is nice
The college is nice with nice atmosphere and infrastructure. The building is a bit small but still it strives to provide the best it can. The library is this college is full of books so you need not to buy books
Professors are very understanding, they help you a lot with your studies and will help you with your extra curricular activities also. But some of them are guest faculty also. They will provide you with all possible things to grow
I am still in 1st year so I cannot comment about it right now.but as per seniors 60% of batch is placed till now and it is still ongowing so I hope all may be placed. But it is detoriating as many good companies are not in the campus till now.
It depends on person to person. For me it is value of money
It is very fruitful as many competitions took place every months a.d keeps students engaged.
The main USP of college is that it is part of DTU which itself is a brand.
The college infrastructure is great with spacious classrooms and air-conditioned the library is of good quality with variety of books availability and huge sitting area . The university washrooms are also good.
The quality of education is the best with proper practical knowledge provided by the teaching staff and with very. Great experience they provide with real time practical examples and others .the education is great
The placements are not great rightnow only 20 percent of the batch is placed and others are still waiting to get placeed the average package is around eight to nine lakhs per annum. The placements are low
The value of money is the best for the university as the whole mba is completed in only four lakhs in total whereas in other universities it is completed in around 15 lakhs per annum and hence it is value for money.
The campus life is good . The university has variety of events with societies I am in zenith society right now it is of sports department I am responsible for various task like organizing sports events and others
The university experience is great to be part of
