Delhi Technological University is one of the earliest autonomous institutions in India which is set as a public institution under the state government of Delhi. It is UGC accredited with NAAC A grade rank. Instituted in the year of 1941 as Delhi Polytechnic, the college left the affiliation with Delhi University in 2009, became deemed university and renamed as Delhi Technological University. The university campus is vastly spread around 164 acres of land with future plans of extension to accommodate new courses and research facilities. The NIRF 2021 rank of the university is 36th under the engineering category. In the university category of the NIRF Ranking 2021, the varsity has been ranked 42 whereas it was ranked 45 in the NIRF Ranking 2020 in the same category. DTU has also been ranked 54th in the overall category by the NIRF for the year 2021.
Delhi Technological University is ISO 9001:2015 certified and has signed MOUs with various institutes for the purpose of sharing knowledge, technology and facilities. These institutes are Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, Indian Institute of Petroleum, Dehradun and Delhi Metro Rail Corporation.
The DTU offers undergraduate Bachelor of Technology degree programmes, Bachelor of Arts (Honours) Economics programme, post graduate programmes out of which majority pertains to Master of Technology degree and then Master of Science degrees under various disciplines and departments. The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is provided under different disciplines and subdisciplines with the university having its own state of the art research facilities. The DTU also has its own 2 affiliated management colleges, Delhi School of Management, which provides the degree of Master of Business Management with Full-Time and Executive options and University School of Management and Entrepreneurship which provides Master of Business Administration degrees under different specialisations.
The university is situated at Shahbad Daulatpur, Main Bawana Road, Delhi. The nearest railway station is Khera Kalan Railway Station. It is located at a distance of 9.5 km from the university campus. Nearest Metro station is Rithala Metro Station which is at 4 km distance. Indira Gandhi International Airport is at a distance of 37.7 km form the university premsies. Scholarships are provided for students at Delhi Technological University with the source of funding from alumni based private and government based schemes. The main purpose of scholarships is to make sure that it is not a financial hurdle for the student to pursue the desired programme of choice. The scholarships provided with certain terms and conditions as set by the provider and the range from CGPA, profile, academic merit, parental income and availability. There are donor based and medal based awards with a certain cash incentive and medal honors. Cutoff for BBA in dtu goes as high as 97% for general students considering previous year students, for other category and other state students cutoff varies.
Having said this I'll advice you to apply for the admission and keep checking their official website regularly to stay updated about 2022 cutoff. Simultaneously you can also apply in other universities for the same course.

To get admission to B.Tech in Delhi Technological University you must appear for JEE Main. Joint Admission Counselling (JAC) Committee will conduct the counselling and allot seats based on the rank (All India Rank) secured in JEE Main. The colleges participating in JAC counselling are DTU, NSUT, IGDTUW and IIIT Delhi. The eligibility criteria to be eligible to participate in JAC counselling to get admission to B.Tech in DTU is that you must have passed 10+2 with English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from a recognized board. You must have scored minimum 60% marks or more marks in an aggregate of Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.

The previous year Cutoff says that in order to get admission in DTU, for the lowest branch you have to score 150-180 and for the highest branch you have to score 180-250 .

The placements for civil Engineering in DTU is good as compared to the other colleges. There are very few colleges in India which provides good placements in core engineering streams like nit Jamshedpur, nit Jalandhar, nit Trichy, warangal surathkal and few more colleges.

DTU has a 20-bed medical block fully fitted where two doctors are available day and night for the students. The campus is used once a week by numerous other specialized professionals. It also provides special ENT care, dental care and other facilities for students and staff members.
Delhi Technological University facilities include a modern gymnasium with all the high tech facilities such as electronic treadmills and other equipment which were refurbished recently with all the latest standards.
In the university campus, there is a central library containing all the books required for student learning. The bibliothèque styled facility has access to India's National Digital Library and utilises all the resources for all ebooks in their databases. There is also a facility in the library for e-journals and e-books. The library also helps in inter-library book loan and xerox facilities.
Sports and games the students of Delhi DTU have excellent facilities for sports such as 450 metre track for running, hockey and football grounds, cricket ground, volleyball courts, basketball courts and tennis courts. There are also indoor games rooms such as chess,carrom, rules table tennis with rules and regulations in each hostel of the college campus. The sports council organises the festival “Arena” for large-scale participation of students in several sports every year.
To meet the demands of students and faculty, the university has a well-centralized computer centre. The computer center currently has about 200 computers on two floors, providing access to all the departments in the college, particularly the departments of CSE, ECE, EE and Maths. This center acts as the nodal academy for information storage and management solutions and conducts training programs for the faculty and students in the institution.
Student's Alumni Cell (SAC) DTU, is a student body that was formed with the aim to brigde the gap between the alumni and current students/University. This body will be responsible for conduction of all the events related to alumni and students in the University.It will also act as the Alma mater's representative for the alumni that will be available to help them out for any kind of academic/administrative work in the University.
Wi-Fi facility is available in campus. All academic buildings, library, administrative blocks, residential buildings, and all the hostels of DTU are connected using optical fibre links and around 95 Wi Fi access points.
With an ATM service that is open 24 hours, a State bank of India is situated inside the college campus and a India Post facility is available for mailing services.
The Indian Post has its office within the campus to cater to the mail related needs of the DTU community.
This Delhi Technological University facility is provided for people who are visiting the university and not part of the DTU for the reason of staying. Guests such as HR representatives from prospective recruiting companies as well as parents and students, visiting faculty and guest lecture members are provided with the rooms and modern day facilities or amenities possible.
The auditorium has a 500 seat capacity which is used for organizing events, talks, felicitations and award functions for students as well as faculty members in the university across many departments. They also organize events such as group yoga sessions for health promotion.
