Hi!

With a rank of 35,000, you still have a fair chance of getting Mechanical Production or Electrical trade in Mirzapur Polytechnic, especially in the later counselling rounds. In the first 2–3 rounds, cut-offs are higher, but by the 5th and 6th rounds, many seats open up as candidates upgrade to better colleges. Keep participating in all rounds and don’t skip reporting if allotted. Also, look at nearby government polytechnic colleges as backup options, since they might have similar courses and better seat availability. Stay ready with documents like domicile, caste certificate (if applicable), and mark sheets to avoid delays during admission. Many students with higher ranks get trades in later rounds simply because they remain active in the counselling process.

35000 rank ke saath, Mirzapur ke government ya government-aided polytechnic colleges me mechanical production ya electrical trade ka chance depend karega ki cutoff pichle saal kitna gaya tha aur is saal kitni seats available hain. Generally, rural ya backward region ke colleges me seats 4th–6th round tak open rehti hain, to aapka rank wahan consider ho sakta hai, especially agar aapke paas category reservation hai. Open category me thoda tough ho sakta hai lekin electrical trade thoda zyada demand me hota hai, isliye mechanical production ka chance comparatively better rahega later rounds me.

Hello Ashu admission in different polytechnic colleges in UP is done by the couselling board JEECUP across different collages  in different districts .  You can yourself check the opening and closing ranks of various sreams and based on previous year data you can check ,

Bro, with a rank of 35,000, getting into Mirzapur’s government polytechnic for Mechanical Production or Electrical in Round 6 is not guaranteed, but still possible. Last year, Government Polytechnic Mirzapur’s closing rank for Electrical was only around 6,976 in Round 6

But Government Polytechnic Rajgarh (Mirzapur area) gave seats for Mechanical & Automation up to 8,569 in its Round 2 closing rank .

So, here's the deal:

If your rank is close and you have category reservation, your chances improve.

Mechanical Production in newer institutes like Rajgarh might still have seats.

Electrical is more competitive since cutoff is much lower.

My advice? Apply in Round 6, keep options open beyond Mirzapur too, and stay ready to take that seat if it comes!

Hii,

You can get mechanical engineering question papers from multiple sources your university’s exam cell, seniors, departmental notice boards, and the official university website. Many universities like VTU, Anna University, etc. maintain an online repository of previous year papers for each semester. You can also find question banks compiled by coaching centres or student forums, which include frequently repeated questions. If you’re preparing for competitive exams like GATE, practice both university papers and GATE mechanical papers, as they cover similar core concepts. Make sure you solve at least the last 5 years’ papers under timed conditions and then review your mistakes carefully.

Wishing you success in your exams, and thank you for your question!
