ICFAI University, Sikkim was established under Section 4(2) of the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University, Sikkim Act 9 of 2004 passed by the Legislative Assembly of Sikkim. The university is located in Gangtok, Sikkim. ICFAI University Sikkim is approved by UGC. The Bar Council of India has granted approval for offering a 5-year B.B.A L.L.B (Hons.), B.A L.L.B (Hons.) and 3-year L.L.B programmes at the university. 

ICFAI University Sikkim offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in various streams that include management and business administration, hospitality and tourism, computer application and information technology, commerce, law, sciences, education, arts humanities and social sciences. Some ICFAI University Sikkim courses are B.B.A, B.H.M, B.C.A, B.T.T.M, B.A(Hons.), L.L.B, M.B.A, M.C.A, M.A and many other programmes.

The university is spread over an area of 23.47 acres in two locations. The main campus in Gangtok is spread over 6.54 acres with all facilities. ICFAI University Sikkim has classrooms that are well-equipped with the latest audio-visual equipment, LCD projectors, etc. The university has academic blocks, digital classrooms, a library facility with online subscription and e-journals, an internet with WiFi-enabled, sports facilities and other resources.

ICFAI University Sikkim Clubs, Committees and Societies

The development of the student is the main purpose of ICFAI University, Sikkim. Keeping this in mind, the ICFAI University Sikkim conducts various co-curricular activities that allow students to showcase their hidden talent and blossom into perfection. Under the system of hobby clubs, all the students of the entire university are divided into groups based on their hobby and interests. These students are mentored by the expert faculty of that club, who help them discover their hidden talents. The clubs are given below.

Dance Club- ICFAI University has a dance club on the campus. The dance club helps the students learn to dance and conducts dance programs.

Dramatic Club- The university has a dramatic club and it conducts drama, acts and plays.

Fine Arts Club- ICFAI University Sikkim has a Fine Arts Club. 

Debating Club- The university has a debating club. The debating club conducts debates.

ICFAI University Sikkim Facilities and Infrastructure

ICFAI University Sikkim facilities and infrastructure are available in a wide range on the campus. These facilities help the students to spend their time comfortably in the university. ICFAI University Sikkim Admissions

ICFAI University Sikkim admissions are offered on the basis of merit of the qualifying examination. For the admission of undergraduate law programmes, the weightage is given to CLAT/LSAT and ILSAT scores. For M.B.A  admission, the scores of MAT/ATMA is an added advantage. ICFAI admissions to UG and PG courses is done based on the performance of candidates in the previous qualifying examination. The candidates have to ensure that they are fulfilling the ICFAI University Sikkim admission criteria before applying for admission. ICFAI University Sikkim Scholarships

Students pursuing UG and PG programmes at the ICFAI University Sikkim will get merit scholarships. ICFAI University Sikkim scholarships are given based on academic performance in class 12th/Graduation and semester wise performance in the programme. The merit scholarships are given to the students based on their past academic performance in class 12th. The ICFAI University Sikkim scholarship will be continued semester after semester if the student maintains a minimum 8.0 GPA. Up to 10% of the students in the batch will receive merit scholarships based on their semester-wise performance and these ICFAI scholarships offered based on previous academic performance.

ICFAI University Sikkim Placements

ICFAI University Sikkim placements are overseen by the Career Counselling and Placement cell. The career counselling and placement cell at the university look after the ICFAI University Sikkim placement and training activities on a full-time and continuous basis. An ICFAI University Sikkim placement team was made up of senior professionals and placement executives. The ICFAI University placement team manages the internships programs and final placement activities and the team evaluates student performance and ensures relevant preparation for their corporate placements.
