NFSU Gujarat or Gujarat Forensics Science University (GFSU) offers admission at UG, PG and doctoral levels. Seats are allocated to candidates based on merit and entrance score. National Forensic Science University course admission requires candidates to take the NFSU entrance test (or NFAT) for various UG and PG courses.
NFSU Gujarat courses like B.Sc LLB (H), BBA LLB (H) and LLM consider scores obtained in CLAT/CLAT PG/NFAT. NFSU admission is granted based on a merit list which is prepared using the entrance test scores and qualifying examination marks (class 12 or graduation). Then, candidates are required to take the National Forensic Science University Admission Test (NFAT). After that, a merit list will be prepared based on NFAT and Class 12 marks.
Candidates whose names appear on the merit list are selected for the next stage of the NFSU admission process which is the counselling process.

Then, candidates are required to take the National Forensic Science University Admission Test (NFAT). The syllabus of the NFSU entrance test/ NFAT for the B.Tech course is divided into two categories: 80% would consist of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 20% would include Reasoning, English Grammar, General Knowledge and General Awareness.

The PGD courses of Gujarat Forensic Science University (GFSU) are offered in multiple disciplines like Crime Scene Photography, Cyber Laws, Fingerprint Science, Forensic Toxicology and more. Similarly, the M.Sc and MBA programmes of GFSU are offered in 18 and 4 disciplines respectively.

Each NFSU campus may reserve 10% of its quota for domicile candidates for National Forensic Science University course admission.
A minimum score of 50% is required for admission to UG courses at NFSU. Similarly, 55% marks are required for PG courses. For Ph.D courses, the score must be at least 60% in post-graduation. A 5% relaxation is given to SC/ST and OBC

Syllabus is very much practical and based on skill set development only. Old practices is not there which includes theory only. Teachers are well experienced in relevant subject fields also encourages students for government job opportunities.
Academics are really good and it's the best of the staffs as they only hired the well qualified and experienced staffs and they also understands the students very well so there i sno miscommunication between us and them , so the academics were pretty easy and good

The All India Forensic Science Entrance Test (AIFSET-2022) is a national level entrance test for students who are in themselves in the forensic science courses of its various participating universities.
The other entrance exams for this course are LPUNEST, SUAT or JET.
