NID Ahmedabad is located in Paldi, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Students can take the bus number 31 or 150 from Sarkhej, Vejalpur and reach the institute campus in about 26 mins. Students coming by air can reach the campus of NIT Ahmedabad from the airport in approximately 20 mins. The distance between the Ahmedabad Airport and the Institute is 17 km and students can hire a cab or take an auto and reach the Institute campus.
Exams and Cutoffs
For B.Des/M.Des programmes-
Candidates interested in pursuing B.Des/M.Des programmes, need to appear and qualify NID DAT prelims and mains.
Based on the qualifying marks of NID DAT, candidates can register themselves for the counselling procedure of NID DAT on their official website along with all the necessary documents and fees payment.
Candidates seeking admission to this college need to select NID Ahmedabad as their first preference while doing the choice locking.
Candidates will be offered admissions to B.Des/M.Des programmes based on several parameters such as design aptitude, counselling procedure, choice filling, choice locking, verification of documents and payment of fees.
For Ph.D programmes-

Design Studio- A design studio is a place where students from the designing department share their ideas and convert it into reality. New designs and products are developed with ideas from different students.
Design Library- A design library is a space where all materials, templates, colour palettes and other necessary items required in developing a product are available.

Digital & IT Centre- All the computers inside the IT Centre are well equipped with advanced software and internet facilities.

Mess & Cafe- Mess facility is also provided inside National Institute of Design Ahmedabad which serves a wide range of food items which are hygienic and tasty. There is also cafe provided inside the campus which serves good quality food items, snacks and beverages at affordable rates.
Hostel- Separate accommodation is provided to boys and girls based on the availability of rooms. Students need to fill the application forms for hostel allotment. All the hostels are provided with basic facilities so that students can stay in hostels comfortably away from home.
Medical Service- There is a medical unit available inside NID Ahmedabad campus which takes care of all the medical facilities of students and faculty. The medical unit is provided with trained doctors and nurses which provides medical aid to students.
Design Shop- All the materials needed in designing and manufacturing a product are available inside the design shop.
Amphitheatre- The amphitheatre is provided with modernised audio and visual aids to facilitate easy organisation of any event or programme. All the programmes including cultural, farewell parties etc are also conducted inside the amphitheatre.
Auditorium- The auditorium is equipped with modern audio and video facilities to enable easy conduction of seminars, programmes and other important events. All the important events, programmes and conferences from eminent professors and lecturers are organised inside the auditorium.

Yes national institute of design is the institute which is situated a branch in Delhi also and there are 3 courses in delhi ba in interior design it is of 3year course which is part time also available and fee is INR 5lakhs ,diploma in professional interior design and part time is also available and fee is INR 90,000,MA in interior design and part time is also available for this course and fee is INR 5lakhs and this is one of the top and good institute so study well and work hard to get good marks in the future examinations ALL THE BEST for your future and i think my suggestions and knowledge may be helpful to u.
