NID Ahmedabad Admission Process 2021
National Institute of Design Ahmedabad offers admissions to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. The College offers admissions to B.Des and M.Des programmes based on NID DAT scores and to doctoral programmes based on the scores of Design Research Test (DRT) conducted by the authority. Students qualifying DRT also have to qualify the interview that is conducted to offer admissions to Ph.D programmes. For B.Des/M.Des programmes-
Candidates interested in pursuing B.Des/M.Des programmes, need to appear and qualify NID DAT prelims and mains.
Based on the qualifying marks of NID DAT, candidates can register themselves for the counselling procedure of NID DAT on their official website along with all the necessary documents and fees payment.
Candidates seeking admission to this college need to select NID Ahmedabad as their first preference while doing the choice locking.
Candidates will be offered admissions to B.Des/M.Des programmes based on several parameters such as design aptitude, counselling procedure, choice filling, choice locking, verification of documents and payment of fees.
For Ph.D programmes-
Candidates seeking admission to Ph.D programmes, need to apply for the application form on the official website of NID Ahmedabad along with all the necessary documents and fees payment.
Candidates will get shortlisted based on the acceptance of application forms.
Shortlisted candidates will have to take Design Research Test (DRT).
Candidates qualifying in DRT will have to appear in an interview conducted by the authority.
Candidates will get admission to National Institute of Design Ahmedabad on the basis of document verification, seat allotment and payment of fees.
