Bidar Institute of Medical Sciences, Bidar was established in the year 2007. The BIMS is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), approved by National Medical Council (NMC) and recoganised by Government of India, New Delhi. The institute offers various courses in diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The BIMS Bidar courses are offered in full time mode only. The BIMS Bidar diploma courses offered in Lab Technician, Medical X-Ray Technology, Health Inspector, Medical Record Technology, Operation Theater Technology and Ophthalmic Technology. The BIMS Bidar UG course includes MBBS with a total seat intake of 150. 

The BIMS Bidar PG courses include MD Anatomy, MD Physiology, MD Biochemistry, MD Pharmacology, and MD Forensic Medicine. Candidates must fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria before applying for BIMS Bidar admission. Besides, candidates should have entrance examination scores like NEET for MBBS and NEET PG for postgraduate courses. The BIMS Bidar admission process is done on a merit basis. The college offers various facilities to students and staff.
