Babu Rampal Singh Mahavidyalaya, Moradabad Admission Process

The university implies fairness in a way that results in the admission of the most deserving candidates (based on merit as well) without robbing them of their desired courses of study. The university follows a comprehensive admission policy in line with the state's policy guidelines from U.G.C. and the Govt. of Delhi. Application Process

5. Entrance Exam/Merit List: The college will either conduct an entrance examination or simply prepare a merit list that will be prepared from the marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying examination based on the course and current admission policy in place. 

6. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates would be called for document verification. The original documents would be compared with the copies submitted.

7. Counselling: After the announcement of the result of the entrance examination, merit list, or any other results based on the entrance examination, the above-mentioned selected candidates have to attend a counseling session to be considered for admission to various courses based on their rank-order and availability of vacancies.

8. Fee Payment: The candidates in the Merit List selected for admission in courses should pay the course fees within the stipulated time prescribed by the University.

9. Orientation: The students who have obtained admission have to undergo a session of orientation into the world of Babu Rampal Singh Mahavidyalaya where they are made acquainted with the college rules, facilities, academic expectations, etc.

Degree Wise Admission Process

BA and B. Sc: The college offers undergraduate courses in arts and science. For admission to these courses, the performance index obtained in the 10+2 examination or equivalent under the U.G.C. is dictated. The performance index should entail consideration of the aggregate percentage and subject specific marks as per the course requirements.

MA: The MA programs being offered at Babu Rampal Singh Mahavidyalaya are in English, Geography, Home Science, Drawing, and Urdu. Any candidate in the said field of interest having a Holders of bachelor degree or any other related degree are to be considered for a higher program within this Field. The admissions here are typically based on the marks of eligibility in the qualifying examinations.

M. Sc: The college offers M.Sc programs in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Zoology, and Botany. Applicants should have a bachelor's degree in respective subjects or an allied field. Usually, admission is offered based on the merit list prepared from the marks acquired in the qualifying examination.

D. El. Ed: There are 50 seats approved for the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) program at Babu Rampal Singh Mahavidyalaya.
