My experience with my college is extremely good.teachers are very helpful.they clarify my all doubts...seniors are also very good....college infrastructure & environment is good.labs are also satisfiable.made a lot of friends here we have a cool gang.we study with so much fun also participate in extra curricular but industrial exposure is not so much good here.it needs improvement and training & placement cell is good but more companies needed to visit our campus so that more students get placed....so that all.journey is going.on 3 year.one year left.& I am enjoying here.

Go for it if your budget is less. No placements

The engineering college is a part of the overall university campus, so the infrastructure is really good. The hostel rooms are decent enough, but typically 2nd year onwards many students opt for PG or rental properties in the nearby localities. The overall area is affordable from a student point of view. The Central library, Stadium, mechanical and electronics lab are well equipped, so the infrastructure is really good. The faculty that you will get in 3rd and 4th year are good, but in initial 2 years, there a lot of ad-hoc teachers. There are annual fest/events at the university level, but they get skipped at times due to lack of funds and sponsorship. The biggest pain-point is the campus placement. Being a government college, there is no urgency from the T&P Cell to follow up with companies, the way a private college does. But because of this clarity from 1st year, the students know that they have to really work hard to get a job once the course is over. So, every engineering student is very serious about GATE preparation from 1st year itself. The people in non-computer science branches focus on preparing for PSUs and other government job vacancies for engineers. Computer science branch students also focus on GATE, so that they can opt for M.Tech in IITs/NITs/IIITs or they head towards Delhi NCR or Bangalore/Hyderabad and try to get a job in IT sector. It may take 2-3 years, but without much college support, still the students reach a fairly good position. GATE and PSU results are really good as a number of students qualify for GATE and go for higher studies. The alumni of the institute are at the good position, but the alumni don't contribute much towards the betterment of the institute. The institute needs to revive the alumni cell and leverage the vast network of alumni for better industry exposure and placements as well. As already mentioned the fees of the college is very low, as it's a government institute with a lot of subsidies from the state government for socially and economically backward candidates. In a nutshell, if you are a hard-working student, but you have financial constraints, you should consider this college. The faculty is decent enough and you can crack PSUs and GATE if you are serious from day one. Don't expect to land a job through campus placements, you have to have your own plan.

It's a college where you'll get an ample time to explore yourself and other fields apart from a set path of general technical studies. The prescribed syllabus and suggested books will help you in the long run. So if you are sure about future endeavors ad to believe in yourself, go for it, but remember I will be your effort.

sir , this year my graduation is appearing from mjpru. And also i m qualified 12th from ALLAHBAD board. So how should i prepare for DU LLB EXAM to get good marks plz give me rgt suggestion.

Sourandhi Saha Student Expert 18th Feb, 2020

There are four sections in DU LLB Entrance Examination-  English language, analytical skills, legal awareness  and aptitude, general knowledge and current affairs.

In English language section, there will be questions from grammar, unseen passage,  antonyms-synonyms, fill in the blanks etc. The best way to prepare is to refer any comprehensive grammar book and read any one english newspaper daily.

Analytical skills section includes maths, reasoning, aptitude etc. For this, you should revise maths books of class V to X. Also there will be questions from seat arrangement, blood relation, speed, time and distance, coding decoding, syllogism etc.

Universal DU LLB guide is considered very helpful for both legal awareness and legal aptitude sections. You should try to complete the entire legal aptitude section.

Reading newspapers regularly will extremely help you to be aware of the current affairs. For general knowledge section, you can refer to these books- Manorama Year book, India Year Book etc.

If possible you should make a proper study plan and do accordingly. There are many mock tests booklets available in the market, choose any one of them and start solving the mock papers. Solving previous year papers will help you to get accustomed.

Ill complete B.A with History and Geography from MJPRU. Can I get admission in M.A.Hindi literature in jnu or du

Anu Priya 27th Nov, 2019

Hello,

The eligibility criteria for admission in MA Hindi literature in JNU is that the candidate should have completed  a bachelors degree in any discipline under the pattern of 10+2+3. Also the candidate should have secured 45% of marks aggregate with adequate proficiency in the subject/ language concerned. Similarly in case of DU, a candidate should have completed any bachelors degree. However a bachelors degree in hindi itself is preferred in both the cases. The admission can be  based on merit or the marks obtained in the qualifying entrance test conducted by the universities. Therefore visit the official websites to confirm the admission procedure and for more details.
