Application Process
Notification: Admission notifications by the college declaring admission process initiation.

Pass certificates of qualifying examinations

Transfer certificate (if applicable)

Application Fee: The amount or fee to be paid as admission notification states.
Merit List: The enabling college for creating and publishing the merit list as per all the criteria prescribed for program-wise merits.
Counselling and Admission: The chosen candidates for the course will report for counselling to opt for the course on the basis of merit rank and availability of seats.
Fee Payment: After being selected for the admission process, the candidate shall pay the prescribed admission fee by the deadline to reserve their seat.

Degree-wise Admission Process
BA (Bachelor of Arts):
Admission in the BA program is based on merit in the 10+2 examination. The overall percentage shall be considered; due weightage may be given to marks in relevant subjects. Candidates should have completed higher secondary education from a recognized board.
MA (Master of Arts):
Admission to MA in Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Political Science, Economics, and Sociology revolves around having an undergraduate degree in that particular subject or something allied to it. Selection might take marks in the qualifying degree into consideration and sometimes an entrance test or interview.
BLISc (Bachelor of Library and Information Science):
The candidate is required to have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. The basis of selection may include marks obtained in the qualifying degree and any relevant experience in library science.
Postgraduate Diploma Courses:
Offered in Tourism, Creative Writing in Hindi, Environment and Sustainable Development, and Social Work. Normally, a student holding a bachelor's degree in any discipline would be eligible. The criteria for selection may depend on academic background, relevant experience, and may also include an interview or entrance test.
Diploma in Rural Development and Tourism Studies:
This course caters to candidates with a minimum of 10+2 education. Admission may be based both on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination as well as relevant experience or aptitude for the field.
