      Guru Nanak Institute of Management, Mullana Admission Process

      Guru Nanak Institute of Management, Mullana (GNIM), is one of the reputed institutions for imparting management education to aspiring candidates. GNIM has secured approval of AICTE, GNIM admissions goes through a thorough process to select a qualified candidate for the course. GNIM admission process consists of centralised counselling and PIN-based institute-level admissions to maintain fairness and competition during selection. 

      GNIM admission cycle usually starts with the academic year, and applications are opened months in advance. In the case of an MBA programme, based on merit in the Management Aptitude Test (MAT), 75% of the total seats are filled by means of Online Centralised Counselling conducted by the Haryana State Counselling Society, Panchkula. The remaining 25% of seats and any vacant seats created after centralised counselling are allotted directly by the Institute, based on MAT score or marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

      GNIM Application Process

      For Guru Nanak Institute of Management, Mullana, the application process varies slightly depending on the programme and mode of GNIM admission

      GNIM Application Process for Centralised Counselling (75% of seats)

      • Register and appear for Management Aptitude Test (MAT).
      • Apply for Online Centralised Counselling conducted by the Haryana State Counseling Society, Panchkula.
      • Submit all required documents and application fees as specified by the counselling authority.
      • Attend Counselling on the basis of MAT score.
      • If a seat is allocated, he/she must complete all admission formalities at GNIM within the time specified.

      GNIM Application Process for Institute-level Admissions (25% of seats and vacant seats)

      • Application form to be downloaded from the institute's website or obtained in person from the GNIM admissions office.
      • Fill in the application form with precise personal and academic information.
      • Submit the completed application form with all required documents. 
      • Payment of application is to be made.
      • Selection process notified by the institute would be taken by the candidate, which would include group discussions or personal interview processes.

      GNIM Eligibility Process

      The eligibility requirements set down by GNIM for its selection of programmes are aimed toward making sure that students admitted to these programmes possess an adequate academic background to be able to pursue their study successfully. In respect of the MBA programme, the candidates must possess a completed bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognised university. For the BBA programme, candidates must have finished their 10+2 from a recognised board.

      GNIM Degree wise Admission Process

      The admission procedure in Guru Nanak Institute of Management combines centralised counselling and institute level admissions.

      GNIM BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) Admission Process

      BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration): The BBA programme has 120 seats; every seat goes through a structured admission process. Out of the total, 75% of seats are filled through centralised counselling based on entrance examination scores; the remaining 25%, along with any vacant seats, are filled directly by the institute. 

      Admission to these seats is based on the performance of candidates in the relevant entrance examinations or on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination (10+2). The programme is designed to prepare the students with a strong foundation of business management principles.

      GNIM MBA (Master of Business Administration) Admission Process

      MBA (Master of Business Administration): The programme has an intake of 90 seats, and there is an equally thorough procedure of selection. In the context of the BBA programme, 75% of the seats are allocated by the online centralised counselling conducted by the Haryana State Counselling Society based on MAT scores. 

      The Institute itself fills the remaining 25% of seats and any vacancies against either MAT scores or on the basis of the candidate's performance in his or her qualifying examination. This two-year programme is designed to develop future managers to operate in the most dynamic and exciting business environment.

      GNIM Documents Required

      These documents include:

      • MAT scorecard or mark sheets of the qualifying examination
      • 10th and 12th standard mark sheets
      • Graduation mark sheets and degree certificate (for MBA applicants)
      • Valid ID proof
      • Latest passport-sized photographs

      Ensure that all the above documents have been collected and submitted at the time of GNIM admission.
