IIM Bangalore Course Admission 2024 - Fees, Date, Cutoff & Eligibility

The institute offers an Executive MBA course and the duration of the course is one year. The IIM Bangalore Executive fee is Rs 23.00 Lakhs.  The institute provides placement opportunities for students. The institute conducts seminars, presentations, webinars, and many other activities to enhance the students skills. 

Non-government participants include those from NGOs, international agencies and multilateral agencies, Public Sector Undertakings and personnel working in the CSR units of corporates, consulting, service and infrastructural sectors. In order to apply for the PGPPM program, applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum percentage of 50%, work experience of minimum five years preferably in a job related to public policy and a valid CAT or GMAT score.

The Ph.D program is committed to train individuals who will excel in their area of research through high quality work that could potentially lead to publications of international standard. It should not be confused with master level programs such as MBA. You can apply to two areas but must mention your first preference in your application. Once a student is admitted to an area, only rarely can the student change the area.

IIM Bangalore offers Ph.D courses at the doctoral level. The duration of the course is 5 years. The streams in which IIM Bangalore Ph.D courses are Decision Sciences, Economics & Social Sciences, Entrepreneurship, Finance & Accounting, Information Systems, Marketing, Organisational Behavior & Human Resource Management, Production & Operations Management, Public Policy and Strategy.  The entrance exam scores required for admission to Ph.D courses are GMAT/GRE/CAT/GATE/JRF (NET)/IIMB Test.

Yes, you can join IIMB without giving the CAT exam. You will have to give the GMAT exam instead.The IIMB evaluates a candidate's eligibility for the  MBA program using several parameters, including academic performance and the candidate's GMAT score. If you have relevant work experience, it will also be given weightage. In addition to being a selection criterion, GMAT scores are also used to determine the minimum level of proficiency expected of a candidate apart from other selection factors.

No, you cannot get admission to IIMB after your 12th. The minimum academic qualification to do an MBA in IIMB is to finish your graduation. However some IIMS offer integrated courses in management and law. These are IIM Rohtak, IIM Indore, IIM Ranchi, IIM Jammu and others. However IIMB is not in this list. If you wish to join IIM after the 12th then you must apply to IIMs offering an integrated course.

In order to join IIM Bangalore, you must first appear for the relevant entrance examination. IIMB will then declare the cut-off percentage. If you meet the cut-off, you can fill out the application form for admission.  The qualified candidates will be invited for the Personal interview round. The IIM Bangalore admissions are based on the scores secured in the entrance examination and performance in the PI.

The admission process of the M.B.A Business Analytics course is that the students should qualify the CAT/GMAT/GRE. Further. The selected students have to appear for a WAT and a PI. Final selection will be done on the basis of the students’ Scholastic Achievement, Work Experience, and performance in the WAT and PI.

Scores of GMAT, GRE, CAT, GATE, JRF (NET) score, or IIMB Tests are considered for admission to the Ph.D course.

The eligibility criteria of the M.M.S course is that the students should have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% marks with a minimum of 5 years of work experience, preferably in a Public Policy domain.
