PGDM (PPM) is an initiative to create a programme of excellence for practise, teaching & research in the field of public policy, governance and public management. The prospective participants are civil servants and public officials from central and state governments as well as participants from the development/policy sector. All the participants in the programme are key stakeholders in our mission to develop a professionally sound public policy and public service delivery which meets the needs of inclusive development by strengthening the learning and capacity building needs of officials / executives working in the field of public affairs and public service delivery.

PGDM (PPM) offers a unique integration of management concepts, tools and techniques with stress on public policy formulation, analysis and implementation, including the design and execution of delivery systems. It is a fifteen month programme designed in collaboration with Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India. Several Cadre Controlling Authorities (CCAs) of the Government of India regularly sponsor their service officers for this progamme. In the past, participants have usually been from the three All India Services and Group A (Class–I), Central and State Services.

Eligibility Criteria

FOR DOPT SPONSORED APPLICANTS

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AS PER DoPT

The programme is open to officers of All India Services, Central Services (organized & non-organized, technical & non-technical), faculty members of State Administrative Training Institutes and also officers of the State Civil Services (SCS)/Non-State Civil Services (Non- SCS) subject to the following eligibility conditions:

Length of service	Officers should have completed 5 years of Group ‘A’ service as on commencement of the programme.
Age	The officers should have at least three years remaining service after completion of the programme.
Earlier Training	The officers should not have undergone a training Programme of 12-weeks or more duration in India during a period of 5 years preceding the date of commencement of this Programme. Further, the officer should not have undergone a Programme of training abroad of more than 2-weeks in preceding 2-years, more than one month in preceding 3-years or more than six months in the preceding 5-years.

FOR SELF SPONSORED APPLICANTS

Eligibility Criteria:
1. The applicants must have 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in both class X and XII
2. The applicants must have minimum 3-year Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline from any University recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
3. A minimum of 3-year of post-qualification executive work experience as on 30 April 2025.
4. Self-Sponsored Applicants through Valid CAT /GMAT / XAT / ATMA / MAT/ CMAT scores.

The Applicants must have any one of the six All India Tests i.e Valid GMAT/CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA/CMAT scores, valid upto June 30, 2025 to be eligible for the admission to PGDM-Public Policy and Management 2025.

Admission Details

Application/ Selection Process
The online application form for PGDM-PPM Programme of MDI Gurgaon shall be available on the MDI Gurgaon website https://www.mdi.ac.in. with necessary instructions.
Online registration will be open till 27th July 2025.
Applicants have to make an online payment of Rs.3000 (Rupees three thousand only) inclusive of 18% GST.
SELECTION PROCESS
Shortlisting of Applicants for the Personal Interview will be done on the basis of the details provided in the application form and their valid GMAT/CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA/CMAT Scores. Shortlisted Applicants will be called for the Personal Interview at MDI Gurgaon campus. The selection process may also be conducted online through zoom for which the intimation will be given to the short-listed applicants in advance.
Admission Offer
The selected Applicants will have to pay the first instalment of fee by the given deadline, failing which their offer of admission would be withdrawn, without any further intimation.
