Batch of 2020 | MBBS
Maulana azad medical college isone of the best colleges of India and Delhi. Though the rank shifts everyyear,Mamc still retains the top 10 position however everyyear, all the toppers of Delhi pre medical test (DPMT) still prefer MAMC over LHMC and UCMS (the 3 colleges under Delhi university) Situated in centre of delhi, where there is a shortage of land,it still manages to have a huge campus. It will take around 1 hour to explore whole campus including hospitals. There are 5 hospitals under the college. 1 Lok nayak hospital 2 GB Pant hospital 3 Guru nanak eye care centre 4 sushrut trauma centre 5 chacha nehru bal chikitsalya. The above 3 are within the campus and rest 2 are outside. There are many canteens some of which are open for 24 hours. Two 24 hrs cafeteria. Departmental canteen where the food is awesome. 5 hostels (old boys hostel, new boys hostel, old girls hostel, new girls hostel, interns hostel) for Undergraduates and 1 for post graduates. The hostel fee is quite economical. Around 6500 per year (as of 2016) including electricity. Mamc has its own guest house for parents of non delhiites. The exposure at hospital to patients is perfect. There is a syndicate bank inside the campus with ATM. It has kendriya bhandar. CP and India gate is just a 3-4 km away. Feroz shah kotla is infront of our college. You can hear the voice of crowd while sitting in hostel. The faculty at mamc is quite good as compared to other colleges. College fee is also quite less (approx 2000 per year as of 2016). Market for general day to day needs is a km away. Hostel life is the best. You can enter and exit hostel at any time for boys (for girls the last entry is at 11 PM). Every hostel has a TV room and various sports activities are organised by the Azad medicos association (students union). It has its own auditorium where various conferences are held frequently. The faculty is very friendly and helpful. And above all,the seniors here are quite helpful. They are more like a family rather than formal seniors. Overall MAMC is the best college one could think of for doing MBBS among delhi university. The only problem being the washrooms at hostel and college. They are quite untidy because alot of general public uses it.

College life gives a new experience each day. it is quite interesting. the infrastructure is satisfing but more maintaince and cleaning is required. No of rooms in hostel are not enough to accomodate all the students. Regular pest control required to prevent diseases. The faculty is very interactive making college interesting but somtimes it gets boring.

It is one of the best colleges in the country. The college has an excellent faculty and amazing infrastructure. Also, the case study method of teaching helps in practical learning. The student crowd and campus life set it apart from rest of the colleges. The guest lectures from industry experts help to build a strong network that can be a constant source of new opportunities.
