ACMS Delhi Scholarship

Established in 2008, the Army College of Medical Sciences(ACMS) is a medical college based in New Delhi. The foundation stone for the institute was laid by the Union Defence Minister Mr George Fernandes in 2004 and was later inaugurated by the then Union Defence Minister Mr AK Antony on 5th January 2009. The institute is private and functions under the aegis of the Army Welfare Education Society. It is also affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University New Delhi. ACMS is recognised by the Medical Council of India. It is ranked 29th in medical colleges. It has total student enrollments of about 500 and has 316 faculty members to support them. The college offers various facilities and scholarships to its students to ease their stay and higher studies.

Pradhan Mantri Scholarship Yojna

The amount of scholarship given to girls is Rs 3000 and per month and the amount given to boys is Rs 2500 per month which is paid for 12 months

●       The candidate must be a dependent ward of deceased CAPFs and AR/Ex-CAPFs

●       You must be pursuing a professional course

●       The student should have a minimum of 60% marks in the previous qualification

Merit Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC/Minority Students

The student gets Rs 1860 as maintenance scholarship as per the level of studies including various other benefits

●       The students must belong to Delhi domicile and be of SC/ST/OBC/Minority category.

●       They must be pursuing PG/UG courses and have scored a 60% marks in the previous academic exam.

●       The family of the candidate should not be more than Rs 2 lakhs.

Delhi Ladli Scheme

The candidates receive financial assistance of up to Rs 11000 per annum

The candidate must be a girl belonging to the Delhi Domicile. Her parents or guardians must be a resident of the NCR for at least 3 years before birth. The family income must not be more than Rs 1 lakh.

Financial Assistance to Students of Educationally Backward Minority Students

The selected candidates receive financial assistance of about Rs 600 per annum

The candidate must belong to the minority communities (Muslims and Neo-Buddhists). The annual family income must be less than Rs 1 lakh.
