    College Infrastructure

The infrastructure for B.Com creates a calm and study-focused atmosphere. Classrooms are neat, well-lit, and comfortable for long sessions of accounting and business studies. The library stands out the most, it’s peaceful, well-organized, and stocked with updated commerce books, journals, and reference material.

    Academics

The B.Com curriculum is structured to give students a complete understanding of business fundamentals. It includes a balanced mix of Accounting, Economics, Business Law, Management, Banking, Taxation, and Corporate Governance.

    Placements

Placements for B.Com students offer a good launchpad into the professional world. Companies usually come with roles in accounts management, finance support, banking operations, auditing assistance, and business coordination.

    College Infrastructure

Classrooms are clean, well-lit, and equipped for presentations. Seminar halls give a professional atmosphere for workshops and project discussions. Overall, the setup is simple but efficient, especially for students who value a study-friendly environment.

    Academics

The Teaching approach focuses on case studies, projects, and presentations rather than just exams. Faculty members encourage independent thinking and guide students in building strong conceptual foundations that are useful for competitive exams like NET-JRF or careers in finance and research.

    Placements

Students who actively participate in internships or projects gain an extra edge during placements. While postgraduate commerce roles are competitive, the program provides solid exposure to real-world applications, making it easier to secure positions in corporate firms, consultancies, or financial institutions.

Old college but well reputed and affordable as a govt clg

    College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of Meerut College is average but manageable for a government institution. Classrooms are spacious but lack modern digital facilities. Labs are functional, though many instruments are outdated and need maintenance.

    Academics

Faculty members are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Most teachers have years of teaching experience and a good grasp of their subjects. However, the teaching methods are traditional, focusing mainly on theory rather than practical or applied learning

    Placements

There are no placements for B.Sc. Maths students at Meerut College. The college does not have a placement cell for undergraduate science courses, and no corporate or research companies visit for recruitment.

Overall the college is below average in every field

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

There is a computer lab as well, but it's not the most cutting-edge. The campus itself is large with some space for sports, but don’t expect anything super modern. Also, there’s no hostel, so you’ll have to find accommodation outside if you’re not from Meerut.

    Academics

The best part of Meerut College is probably the teachers. The college is affiliated with CCS University, so the syllabus is set by the university, and the faculty sticks to it well. The majority of the professors are very experienced and explain things clearly and practically, particularly in important subjects such as Accounting, Business Law, and Economics.

    Placements

The college has a placement cell, but it doesn't happen to be very active for the commerce students. A few local companies in fields like basic accounting and sales come once in a while, but if you’re aiming for a good corporate job, you’ll likely have to search on your own or pursue higher studies like CA, CS, or an MBA. Most of the students focused on internships or further studies rather than relying on campus placements.

    Academics

Meerut college is not particularly good at academics because the most of the time teacher are in holiday or students don't even know when thier few subjects classes are going on or the teachers taking it ornot

    Placements

I don't know about the placement in meerut college because my course is b.a it's a government college but still I don't thier placement are good or placement are not up to students hardwork or they don't deserve that job

    Value for Money

The meerut value the money mostly calling special guest and hosting saminer which is a good thing we can learn new things from the experienced expert and it help to get motivation to persue are goal too

    Campus Life

Campus life is average or kinda depends on the person Meerut college has garden to hangout with ur friends and parks too thier total of 2-4 Park which is a good thing to go to different different Park hangout

    College Infrastructure

The classrooms are big, but they do not have modern facilities like AC and digital boards. Wi-Fi is not available all the time across the campus. Although the library has a nice collection of books, Labs are not so relevant for commerce students

    Academics

The faculty members have long experience and are especially helpful when it comes to core subjects of commerce .Still, the teaching style is mainly traditional and is devoid of practical exposure. There are some teachers who are very easy to approach and take care of doubts, but generally, the industry connect is lacking.

    Placements

B.Com students at Meerut College are placed in very poor conditions. In a campus drive, 10–15% of students are placed, and these offers are mainly from small companies. The internship is also in shortage, and only a few students can get an internship in the local offices.

Meerut College is really old fashioned

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

Meerut College has below average infrastructure. The classrooms are pretty old and are not maintained properly, and students can hardly use modern facilities. There is no hostel for students, which is a problem for those who come from outside the city. There are no proper canteens or outlets inside the campus, and the cleanliness standards are still at a low level.

    Academics

The faculty of Meerut College is a mixed bag. There are some professors who are truly experienced, and they do try to connect theory with practical aspects of the subject and commerce wise technicalities, but in majority, those persons only do the syllabus part without involving much.

    Placements

Most students have to look for job or internship openings by themselves, and off-campus events are their main choice. No big companies or even medium size company are coming for M.Com placements. The course has more focus on academics, and corporate opportunities are not much emphasized.

    College Infrastructure

Classrooms are spacious and comfortable. The labs are well-equipped for practical sessions in mathematics and statistics. Wi-Fi is unavailable, and the canteen is not available. The library has a good selection of books, and there are sports facilities for students. Overall, the environment supports learning but lacks modern conveniences.

    Academics

The faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. They have solid teaching experience and help students grasp concepts clearly. They are approachable and assist whenever needed. The curriculum is well-structured according to university guidelines. Semester exams are reasonable, and students can pass with regular study.

    Placements

There are no job placements available at Meerut College for B.Sc. Mathematics students. The college does not have a placement cell, and no student from our batch or earlier ones has been placed in any company. Students must find internships or jobs on their own.

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

The college's infrastructure is quite old and not well maintained. There are no hostel facilities, which causes many problems for students from other places. Another significant issue is that there is no proper canteen.

    Academics

The teachers at Meerut College are satisfactory and provide decent education. However, most of them are quite old and still use an entirely theoretical teaching approach. As a Statistics student, I believe we need more young and updated faculty who can relate practical knowledge to current needs. Right now, the teaching feels outdated.

    Placements

There is almost no chance for placements at Meerut College if you are studying B.Sc. Statistics. Only about 5 to 10% of students find jobs, and most of those positions are with small companies that offer low salaries. Many companies do not even show interest in visiting the campus, and there is no proper placement cell to help students.
