BSc. Biotechnology is very good course students can pursue after 12th. It is combination of biology and technology. Under this course students are taught, how biology can be applied in technology for human welfare.
It is a three year course. Many colleges like Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi Technological Institute, Jai Hind College, etc. provide this course. The fees for the course may vary from college to college.

The eligibility criteria is that candidate must qualify with minimum 50% in PCMB for UR category and 45 % for SC/ST.

Meerut college which was Meerut University before but now it is affiliated with Chaudhary Charan Singh University, it is one of the oldest college of Meerut which was established in 1892 . The glimpse of being old can still be seen in its architectural structure of buildings. hostel facilities are not allowed as of now. the rooms of the hostels are still of British time. The canteen facilities are also not available in this college, the students have to go out of the campus boundaries for there lunch or even for any stationary items. It has a spacious library and also a space for parking for which you have to pay.
College have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. Classrooms have smart boards , classes are neat and clean , College provide hostels, playgrounds, laboratories, better staff and many more.
The college have average infrastructure. The equipment in the college are old. College have the liabray and sport centers. The WiFi in the college is not accessible by students. The living space are clean and food is hygienic.
