My college is one of the most vibrant campuses in Mumbai. Though it’s located in the heart of the city, it’s surprisingly well-organized and peaceful inside. The classrooms are neat, fully air-conditioned, and equipped with smart boards and projectors. The computer and electronics labs are upgraded regularly and have good internet connectivity. The library is modern with a digital catalog system and quiet reading spaces for students. There’s also a clean canteen that serves tasty food at decent prices, and the campus Wi-Fi works pretty well across most areas.
Faculty are known for being approachable and academically strong. Many professors have years of experience in teaching and industry exposure, which helps them blend theory with real-life examples. They encourage students to participate in technical events and guide them during projects with patience. The teachers here go beyond classroom teaching they motivate students to work on research papers, mini projects, and internships. Internal tests, tutorials, and one-on-one guidance help students stay on track.
College placement cell actively coordinates with top companies like Accenture, Deloitte, Infosys, LTI, and TCS. College has all necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments like physics, chemistry and mechanics lab. Labs for CSE aand IT departments. There are water coolers amd washrooms on each floor, they all are well maintained
I am studying Computer science and Engineering department. The quality of teaching is very good. The curriculum is up to date. It includes all the recent developments from all tech fields. The curriculum makes us completely job ready.
The placement at the college is moderately satisfying. They offer decent opportunities but very less premium offers. Overall the college provides solid support but students should remain active in all tech fields.
The college campus is big and is very clean. It has w buildings. The main library building is the major attraction in the campus. The campus is also full of many trees and there are playgrounds for cricket, football, etc.
Good college with decent facilities nad supportive environment. The college offers good infrastructure, helpful faculties and an active campus life. Improvements can be made in placement and startups.
All classrooms are neatly maintained, and many of them are equipped with projectors and smart boards for interactive teaching. Each department has its own laboratories filled with proper instruments and software, helping students perform experiments smoothly. The library is peaceful and has a wide collection of books, research papers, and e-resources. The campus also offers Wi-Fi connectivity, computer centers, a clean canteen, and an auditorium for seminars and events. The hostel facilities are good, providing safe and comfortable rooms for students.
Faculty are well experienced and always ready to help students understand their subjects better. They focus not just on completing the syllabus but also on building a solid foundation in concepts. Teachers use examples, presentations, and discussions to make topics easier to grasp. Many of them guide students through mini projects and research activities. Faculty members are also approachable outside of class hours and provide extra help during exam time. Regular mentorship and feedback sessions make students feel supported.
Placements are improving steadily over the years. The placement cell organizes regular training programs in aptitude, coding, and communication to make students industry-ready. Major companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Bosch visit the campus every year. The average salary package ranges between ₹3.5–4.5 LPA, while some top students get offers around ₹7 LPA. The placement officers also help students find internships, which often lead to job offers later. Yes our college has all necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Every class has projector teaching. Yes college is clean and the food is good in canteen of college. Library has wifi and all books of all branches
I'm studying mechanical engineering because I am interested in car mechanism and heat. Yes the curriculum is always updated with all the recent developments in the field. Yes it makes us all job ready.
The quality of placement is good every year. Every year near by 80 percent students are placed. And highest salary package is of 8 lakh per annual for mechanical engineering. The average salary is around 4 lakh per annual.
Great campus life for students to explore their career opportunities and networking skills and build communication skills. The campus life is like it teaches us something different than books and that is great
We are working on a student formula car in our college. This student formula car is totally made by us. The name of our team is Team Ashwamedh. We are the only team in solapur which make student formula car. And we participate in compitition like sae supra, isie imperial and formula bharat. Our senior has participated in these competitions and achieved 2nd runner up in isie imperial 2024 and 3rd runner up in isie imperial 2025.
The campus infrastructure is very good and offers a comfortable learning environment. Classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated and equipped with modern projectors and smart-boards. The computer and electronics labs have up-to-date machines and peripherals, allowing students to work on hands-on projects with ease. The library is quiet, stocked with a wide selection of textbooks, journals and e-resources, and includes dedicated reading zones for group study and individual work. Wi-Fi connectivity covers most academic blocks, though there are occasional dead spots in older wings. Hostel and mess facilities are decent, with separate blocks for male and female students, and green open spaces that provide a relaxed atmosphere during breaks. On the downside, the sports infrastructure could be expanded – there are only a couple of courts and the gym is a bit cramped. Overall, the infrastructure supports both academic and extracurricular activities in a pleasant way.
The academic environment is genuinely excellent, marked by a strong blend of theory and practice. The faculty are well-qualified and highly approachable, consistently offering guidance beyond the classroom. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed, incorporating recent advances and industry-relevant modules so that students are well-prepared for real-world applications. Regular lab sessions, project work, industrial visits and guest lectures enrich the learning experience and help bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical skills. Internal assessment is structured, with timely tests, assignments and feedback, which encourages continuous learning rather than last-minute cramming. Students benefit from a supportive atmosphere where peer collaboration and mentoring thrive. The one area for improvement is that while many courses emphasise hands-on work, some niche specialisations could use more advanced elective choices and deeper research orientation. Overall, the academic setup strongly supports learning, growth and readiness for future challenges.
The placement scenario is commendable, though not entirely flawless. The dedicated placement cell actively conducts training sessions, mock interviews and résumé workshops that prepare students well. A significant percentage of students secure offers each year, and there are instances of strong packages being extended to high-performing candidates. On the flip side, some branches see fewer core sector recruiters, meaning many students settle for service-oriented jobs rather than niche roles. While the infrastructure for placement is robust and the support from the college is evident, further expansion of recruiter networks and greater consistency across departments would bolster outcomes even more.
The campus atmosphere is vibrant, inclusive and full of opportunities beyond the classroom. Students benefit from a healthy balance of academics and extracurriculars—regular cultural fests, sports tournaments, clubs and organisational events allow for social engagement and personal growth. The green spaces, well-maintained hostels and common areas encourage informal interactions and collaborative learning. On the flip side, some newer wings of the campus could improve in terms of air-conditioning and lounge spaces for relaxed study or group work. Overall, the campus life provides a solid foundation for forging memories, building friendships and developing holistically.
The N. K. Orchid College of Engineering and Technology Solapur has big campus and lots of facilities. The College has separate departments according to the course and also have well experienced teaching staff.
There are smart classrooms, certified labs and best teaching staff provided by College for students. Also interesting techniques and examples are uesd to clear concepts. The clarity of concepts and course outcome is very good.

The College supports projects like SAE Supra, ISIE Formula Imperial, etc. There is an team named as Team Ashwamedh in mechanical branch . Well popular in college. Known for its achievements and well team bonding. The team has secured air 2nd rank in ISIE Formula Imperial 2024 competition and 5th place in SAE Supra 2024 Endurance. The team has 30 members including captain, vice captain and manager. The team works in five subsystem based on the basic automobile systems.
The heritage building is stunningly majestic, giving everything a stately, serious atmosphere and it definitely does not feel like a modern box building. However, the campus essentially shares space with the school section, so for us college students, the recreational area feels like a tiny slice of the pie. For me finding a corner to just chill out and breathe, without feeling like I am standing in a hallway, is the hardest quest of the day.
The Education Honours course feels like I hit the academic jackpot. Our faculty are not just teachers but they are genuine subject matter superheroes. They drill down on the complex University material so thoroughly that when the final exams come, I feel genuinely over-prepared and capable. This is a 5/5 experience purely based on the quality of instruction.
This college is an education factory, not a job placement hub for Arts students. If you are aiming for a serious role in the humanities or education right after graduation, you are on your own. The official placement cell throws almost all its focus and resources towards the Commerce and Management streams, leaving us core Arts majors to pick up the very basic leftover jobs which are not even worth doing according to me.
The campus creates a wonderfully focused and safe academic bubble. There is a powerful sense of support and zero tolerance for distraction, which is a major positive for me. Plus, the location is phenomenal being right in the city heart, making it the perfect launchpad for quick transport and grabbing food with friends after class. The college has great clubs that allow us to build serious leadership skills. The only thing that truly clips my wings is the twin enforcement of strict attendance rules and the physically small campus. There is not much breathing room or spontaneous social time built into the schedule or the geography.
I feel the campus is more of a beautiful, cramped antique building than a spacious college environment. I constantly notice we have no green space or proper common areas because of the shared city center location. I find the wireless network completely useless for my studies due to its extremely sluggish speed. I am most frustrated by the genuinely poor maintenance and upkeep of the college's shared washroom facilities.
I believe the faculty teaching my Bachelor of Arts Honours papers are the single greatest asset here. I appreciate that they approach the curriculum with intensity, demanding high-level commitment from me. I know I am gaining a rigorous theoretical foundation that truly prepares me for future studies. I feel pressure to master complex concepts, not just memorize notes for the university examination. I always find the professors incredibly generous with their time for clearing my doubts outside of class. I see this dedication as the main reason my steep learning curve feels genuinely worthwhile.
I quickly realized the campus placement system is a non-essential backup plan for me in the Arts stream. I find recruitment drives for my specific Arts roles are infrequent and often target general support positions. I constantly remind myself that my most meaningful career moves depend on securing off-campus internships. I plan to focus all my energy on personal initiative for my professional growth, independent of the college. I accept that the college's direct assistance will be negligible for my specific career goals.
I honestly feel the constant, palpable institutional strictness suppresses my independent, spirited college experience. I realize that any genuine social activity or feeling of liberation only begins once I step beyond the main gates. I am thankful that the convenient location means the entire central business district is my functional social space. I wish the discipline was less strict so I could enjoy more freedom during my time inside the campus.
I find myself wishing we had more open space to simply breathe between my crowded lectures every single day. The main building has a wonderful, old-fashioned look to it, but I constantly feel the crush of people when I am trying to move through the narrow, tight hallways. Even though the maintenance staff works hard to keep everything extremely clean, the lack of ample room makes things feel exhausting during the busiest times of the entire college day. I really hope the college library gets some better digital subscriptions and more comfortable seating for us students who crave quiet study.
The English faculty here just absolutely gets literature, and that contagious passion immediately hooks me into every single lesson. I feel like my brain is genuinely switched on every time I attend class because the professors constantly challenge my existing critical thinking skills.
For us Arts and Humanities graduates, the job opportunities the placement cell provides are unfortunately very limited in scope and also in their overall number. The available positions mostly involve roles like basic human resources, corporate content writing, or sometimes a position in the educational field later on. The salary packages being offered through the official campus drives are usually quite minimal, which is certainly disheartening but totally typical for my non-professional, liberal arts degree.
I quickly became close with my batchmates due to the physically small nature of the college, where I constantly bump into friends. The college have plenty of exciting activities and student-led groups, like the literary society, which gives me great avenues to explore my non-academic interests. The annual college events are always celebrated enthusiastically, and I always look forward to participating in the drama and cultural programmes we organize.

Facilities here are very good. There are excellent labs and Wi-Fi facilities. Classrooms have wooden benches. The library has all books, and there is also a digital library. Facilities in hostels are good with hygienic food, and there are 5 canteens which are separate for girls and boys. For any health problems in the hostel, a doctor is available, and for sports, we have all facilities except cricket

Top recruiting companies of our college are Mahindra, Tata, Sonalika, etc. Students are given training for 6 months, and later they will offer a manager role or above on our experience.
College has all required infrastructure used for studying. It has wifi, ac, smartboards and nice classrooms. It has super clean and maintained toilets. It has drinking water too. We also have two turfs on the terrace one for cricket and one for football.
We do case studies in our college, current affairs and current market study. So a lot of practical knowledge is given. We make ppts and present them regularly, every week. Some teachers are supportive. It's nice and I like it.
As I am a first year student I have heard from seniors that our college is good for marketing placements. The average placements of our college is 6.5 lakh per annum. We have a placement cell and they conduct activities to help us prepare for placements
Walchand Institute of Technology, Solapur offers a good environment for students who want to focus on both academics and overall growth. The infrastructure is quite decent. Classrooms are clean and comfortable, labs are properly equipped for practicals, and the library has a wide range of books along with a calm study atmosphere. The campus is not too large, but it is neat and peaceful, which makes it easier to concentrate on studies.
In terms of academics, the faculty members are helpful and knowledgeable. They teach concepts clearly and also encourage students to participate in projects and practical learning. Doubt solving is easy as most teachers are approachable. The college also organizes workshops, seminars, coding competitions and guest lectures from industry experts, which adds extra exposure outside the regular syllabus.
Placements are steadily improving. A number of IT companies and some core companies come for recruitment every year. The Training and Placement Cell conducts aptitude classes, interview prep and different training sessions, which really helps during placement season. Students who continuously practice and take training seriously have a good chance of getting placed. And also from this year Cognizant, Capgemini and still many more companies are coming here for campus selection.
The campus life is quite enjoyable. There are different clubs and committees for technical, sports, and cultural events. Annual fests, hackathons, sports week, and cultural days add fun to the routine and help students interact and make good memories. The crowd is friendly, and it is easy to get along with people.
Overall, WIT Solapur is a good choice for students who want a balanced college life with learning, activities, and opportunities for personal growth. If you are sincere and make use of the resources provided, the college can definitely help you build a good career.
Infrastructure is very good in our college, we have all facilities like ac in all areas in the building, wifi is also available and we have a turf on the terrace of the college which is used for sports like cricket, etc.
Course curriculum of my mms course is very nice, program teaching is great. Except for some professors I like the teaching style of most of my professors. I especially finance and accounting subjects.
I'm a first year student and I have heard from friends in second year of our course that placements for our course are average around 5 lakhs. Summer internship is provided by our college but they provide unpaid internship.
NA
The college infrastructure is simple and basic. The classrooms and common areas are manageable, but there are limited modern facilities and resources. Some parts of the campus could be improved in terms of seating arrangements, equipment, and activity spaces.
As a BA student, I focus on building a clear understanding of the subjects rather than just memorizing.I believe academics play a major role in shaping our thinking and personality, so I always try to learn with interest and dedication.
There are no placement facilities available in the college at present. Students do not receive campus recruitment support or company visits. We hope that in the coming years, the college develops a placement cell to guide students towards their career goals.
