Campus is decent for a small town college, nothing too modern but it covers the basics. Labs were functional, had what we needed for practicals, though not the most updated equipment. Classrooms were simple, basic benches and boards, nothing fancy. Library was actually one of the better parts, quiet space and decent collection of books.

Mostly theory based, which is expected for BSc. Some lecturers were genuinely good and took time to explain concepts properly, while a few subjects felt more like just finishing the syllabus without much depth. Practicals were there but limited in scope, had to read up extra on my own for proper understanding of certain topics.
Placements
Honestly not a strong point for BSc here, this isn't really a placement-focused college. Most people either go for higher studies after this or prepare separately for competitive exams, government jobs, that kind of thing. Companies visiting campus for BSc students specifically were rare to none.

Pretty simple and low-key overall. Small batch sizes meant everyone knew each other well, which had its own charm. Local college vibe basically, no big fests or major events, but the friend circle and daily routine made it manageable and fine in its own way.

Campus is decent sized, spread out a bit so you do walk a fair amount between blocks. Labs were okay, had the basic equipment needed for our practicals. Classrooms were fairly old school, nothing fancy in terms of infra. Library was useful during exam time though, had decent reference books for core subjects.

Theory heavy honestly, more than expected going in. Some professors were really good and explained concepts properly, but a few subjects felt rushed or just textbook-based without much practical exposure. Had to depend on online resources for a lot of the newer stuff, especially in later semesters.

This is where it gets a bit average. Few companies do visit for placements but the numbers aren't great compared to private engineering colleges. A lot of students end up preparing separately for off-campus opportunities or government exams. If you're aiming for core companies, you'll need to put in extra effort on your own - projects, internships, that sort of thing.

Fairly chill overall. Hostel life (if you stay) has its own vibe, you make a solid friend group through assignments and exam stress together. Fest season is fun, breaks the monotony. Nothing too happening day to day otherwise, pretty routine college experience.

Campus was decent, did the job for my course. I was mostly in the computer lab honestly, project work meant I was there almost daily and it was open whenever I needed it. Classrooms - nothing special, pretty basic setup. But the library actually helped me a ton during exams, it was quiet and had enough books that I didn't have to go searching elsewhere.

Mix of theory and practical, fairly standard. I'll be honest, the lectures weren't always exciting but the final project work was where I actually learned things. A few teachers explained really well, made tough topics simple. But for some subjects I basically taught myself off YouTube and just kept practicing till it made sense.

Not gonna lie, this was the weak spot. Companies did visit but not a lot, so most of us ended up applying outside too. Honestly most of my friends just focused on getting certifications and doing solid projects because that mattered more than relying on placement cell.

Pretty normal day to day - labs, assignment discussions, chai breaks in between. Nothing dramatic but it was fun in its own way. The project days are what I remember most though, everyone just pitched in to get things done together before deadlines.

I spend most of my time in the library; it's huge, quiet and actually has everything i need for my research. Even the classroom are high tech, which makes the lectures feel a lot more interactive. Frankly speaking, from the hostels to the dining halls, the level of comfort here is top tier. It really feels like a global campus where all the facilities are actually built to help you succeed.

The economics curriculum is quite demanding, but at the same time very fulfilling. At the moment, i am studying some interesting modules on Survey design and data analysis. I am really looking forward to the Public Policy workshops that are going to be held in the month of Aug/Sep/Oct. The faculty are experts who actually encourage us to challenge theories. Being able to bridge the gap between economic theory and practical policy application in these workshops makes the academic experience feel much more relevant and impactful.

I have found the career office to be super active; they really get us ready way ahead of time. They have helped me focus on getting internships to build my resume before the actual job hunt starts. It's been so encouraging seeing my seniors land roles at places like PwC, EY, and many more. With the personlized counselling we get, i feel a lot more confident about bridging the gap between my degree and a real career.
