CSE program of Department of Computer Science and Engineering aims not just to prepare students for jobs but also to nurture their entrepreneurial drive, making them valuable contributors to both corporate and societal realms. With 120 faculty members, the department boasts a diverse and experienced team committed to delivering quality education, guiding students, and conducting cutting-edge research across various fields.
The curriculum of the B.Tech. CSE is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in computer science principles and problem-solving skills. From the IV semester onwards, students can specialize in various cutting-edge areas such as Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Analytics, Computer Vision, Web Technologies, Full Stack Development, IoT, etc., through program electives. Additionally, the inclusion of Project Based Learning from the III semester ensures that students gain practical, hands-on experience, preparing them to tackle real-world challenges effectively.
The department's commitment to academic excellence is evidenced by its numerous industrial and international collaborations, which enrich the learning experience for students and enhance their career prospects. The strong emphasis on industry connections has resulted in outstanding placement records year after year. For graduating batch of 2023, forty companies visited the campus for B.Tech. CSE placements, all eligible students got placed with median salary of 9.4 LPA. The pinnacle of achievement was marked by Amazon's recruitment, offering the highest package of 46 LPA to 16 students, underscoring the Caliber of graduates produced by the department.
In recognition of its commitment to quality education, the B.Tech.-CSE program received accreditation from the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) in 2021 for a three-year period. Subsequently, in 2024, the program was re-accredited by the NBA for another three years, extending until June 30, 2027.

The candidate must have passed 10+2 or A Level or IB or American 12th grade or equivalent examination with Physics, Mathematics and English as Compulsory subjects, along with any one of Chemistry or Computer Science or Biotechnology or Biology or Statistics or Engineering Drawing as optional subject for admission to B Tech, with minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Mathematics and the optional subject, put together.

Manipal University Jaipur offers Merit-Based Admissions to eligible candidates who meet any one of the following criteria:

B Tech - Lateral Entry (Candidates are admitted directly to second year)
The candidates who have passed 3 year diploma in relevant field of Engineering/BSc (PCM) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate can apply for Lateral Entry to B Tech Programmes
Admissions are done on the basis of rank in the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) 2026.

The college infrastructure is modern and well-maintained, with spacious classrooms, advanced labs, a well-stocked library, clean hostels, sports facilities, and a pleasant campus environment. Beautiful places to sit around and good food
The college infrastructure is excellent, Manipal group provides all the facilities a student needs. The college has top tier infrastructure, modern amenities and advanced learning resources. The classrooms are well maintained along with smartboards working in a very good condition and sound proof classrooms providing a sound sleep system to study in. Along with the classrooms the laboratories have all the top tier equipment working a good condition. Mess and food outlets also follow proper rules, regulations and protocols for the safety of student and staff both providing a good service and food.
The infrastructure of the university is quite impressive. The campus is well maintained with modern classrooms, computer labs, libraries, Wi-Fi facilities, seminar halls, and sports grounds. The environment is green and peaceful, which creates a good atmosphere for studying. Hostel facilities are decent, and most basic amenities are available within the campus itself.
