Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electronics and Communication Engineering is a four-year (8 semesters) full-time undergraduate program recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered at the Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida. The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) is the backbone of contemporary communication systems and stands as the cornerstone of modern communication systems, governing myriad aspects in the contemporary era.

The 4-year degree programme B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) was introduced with the vision and mission of incorporating the recent trends in analog and digital electronics, information and communication technology, artificial intelligence and internet of things. Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have passed 10+2/equivalent exam
Candidates must have passed with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) aggregate in 10+2 or equivalent examination
Candidates should have secured a Pass grade in all subjects
The candidate should have passed or appeared in 10+2 examination or its equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one subject out of Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Biology, Informatics Practices, Biotechnology, Technical Vocational Subject, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, Business Studies, and Entrepreneurship.

Admission Details

Admissions are offered based on the scores of JEE (Main) 2026.

Counselling will be based on merit. Shortlisted candidates eligible for counselling will be informed by email on registered mail ID’s. List of candidates will also be uploaded in the website.

College Infrastructure

great am studying Computer Science Engineering here, primarily chosen because of the university’s strong academic reputation and excellent coding culture. The quality of teaching at Jaypee is highly disciplined and structured; the majority of the faculty members hold PhDs and are very rigorous when it comes to regular lectures and lab tutorials. The curriculum is consistently updated to include recent industry developments like AI, machine learning, and data analytics, which effectively bridges the gap between academic theory and job readiness. However, the system is quite strict, enforcing a rigid attendance policy that requires constant academic focus.

Placement opportunities are good.

College Infrastructure

Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida has decent infrastructure with modern facilities, but the campus is not very huge and feels somewhat limited in space. Classrooms are well-equipped with smart boards and WiFi, and laboratories have sufficient equipment for academic work. The library is well-maintained with adequate books and digital resources, though seating space can feel limited during peak hours.

College Infrastructure

The collage have a really big and great campus. The college have a big stage and a well maintained library which have a huge number of books. The classrooms and library have air conditioner it it which makes them really comfortable.
