SSV College, Hapur Admission 2025: Dates, Application Form, Courses, Fees & Eligibility

SSV College is a highly reputed affiliated college in Uttar Pradesh, India. The college admits students mainly through merit on the basis of qualifying examinations. The admission procedure in SSV College is designed in such a manner as to choose deserving candidates from the carpet of applications received, purely on the basis of merit in the examinations equal to the qualifying ones.  For the majority of courses, the main eligibility criterion requires the candidate to have passed the qualifying examinations, i.e., 10+2 for undergraduate courses and a bachelor's degree for postgraduate courses, from a recognized board or university. For admission decisions, the college takes into consideration the marks of the qualifying examination. This means that students with a reasonably unbroken academic record stand a fair chance of being able to go into the programs of their choice.

Application Process

The general process for applying to SSV College, Hapur, consists of the following steps:

1. Admission Announcement: The public announcement about the admission procedure is made by the college on its website and through local newspapers.

2. Application Form: The next step is the purchase and filling out of an application form. This can either be filled online or in-person at the college admission office.

3. Submission of Documents: With the application form, the following documents should be submitted by the candidate:

• Mark sheets of qualifying examination (10+2 for UG courses, Bachelor's degree for PG courses)
• Pass certificates of the qualifying examination
• Character certificate from the last attended institution
• Transfer certificate
• Migration certificate (if applicable)

Degree wise Admission Process

BA: SSV College offers a Bachelor of Arts in many subjects. There are no entrance exams required for admission into any of the BA programs. So the admissions are based on merit in the 10+2 examination. The college takes into consideration the whole percentage as well as specific subjects in some of the BA specializations.

B.Sc: The college offers Group B.Sc. courses with subjects in Mathematics and Biology. The requirements for B.Sc Mathematics Group candidates must have had Mathematics as a subject in their 10 + 2. Likewise, eligibility for B.Sc Biology Group candidates requires having studied Biology in their 10 + 2. Admissions are granted on the merits of marks scored in the long-off subjects i.e., 10 + 2 deservedly.

B.Com: SSV College runs regular B.Com programs as well as self-financed B.Com programs. For admission into the B.Com course, candidates are selected based on merit in the 10 + 2 examinations, but preference would be given to those candidates who had taken Commerce or related subjects in their higher secondary education examination.

BBA and BCA: The college offers BBA and BCA programs on a self-financed basis, with 60 approved seats for both programs. Admissions to the two programs are likely based on performance in the 10+2 examination, with considerations for students who have studied relevant subjects.

MA: Different subjects are taught MA programs in SSV College, Mathematics, Military Science, Sociology, Defence Studies, Economics, Geography, Political Science, English, and Hindi. Normally, admission to the MA degree is made on the basis of results in the appropriate bachelor's degree.

M.Sc: M.Sc programs in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Zoology, and Botany are available here. Admission to these programs is granted on the basis of the grade achieved in a relevant bachelor's degree and an upper edge for having formally studied the subject at the undergraduate level.

M.Com: Admission to M.Com is based on marks secured in B.Com or an equivalent degree.

B.Ed: The institution provides a self-financed B.Ed course. Admission to the B.Ed program shall be regulated in accordance with the norms prescribed by the State government and the concerned university, which may involve consideration of the merit in the qualifying examination and/or the performance in the admission test.
