VIT School of Law (VITSOL) is the constituent of VIT University. The school was established in 2014. VITSOL offers undergraduate courses in B.A., LL.B (Hon’s) (Five-year Integrated Programmes) and B.B.A LL.B (Hon’s) (Five Year Integrated Programme). VIT Law Review: This is a biannual academic Law Journal published by the VIT School of Law. The journal publishes leading research articles, notes and comments written by legal experts from across the world. VITAlex Debate Society: The objective of the Debate Society is to inculcate the debate practice in students. It regularly organises debate to make students familiar with the various techniques of the debate.

The admission process of B.A., LL.B (Hon’s) (Five-year Integrated Programmes) and B.B.A LL.B (Hon’s) (Five-Year Integrated Programme):
Eligible candidates need to apply online and complete the online admission process.
Candidates also have to send the hardcopy of the application after the online completion of the application, to the relevant campus address.
Candidates will be shortlisted based on the qualifying marks.
The admission process for LLM:
Eligible candidates need to apply online and complete the online admission process.
Candidates have to appear for the All India Entrance Exam. VIT Law School considers the valid score of (DU-LLM / AILET-LLM (NLU Delhi) / PG CLAT).
Candidates, those who do not have the scorecards have to appear for the entrance exam- AILET conducted by VIT at Chennai.
Candidates meeting all the criteria will be invited for the admission at VIT Law School.
The admission process of Ph.D:
Eligible candidates need to apply online as per the Ph.D notification of the VIT University.
Candidates also need to appear for VITREE (VIT Research Entrance Examination)
Selected candidates will be called for a personal interview conducted at the campus
Final Selection will be based on the overall merit index of the candidate which includes candidate’s academic performance at Master’s level and the performance in the written test, research output and/the performance in a personal interview at VIT.

whether VIT (Vellore campus) have law school or only chennai campus ?

VIT Vellore offers law at VIT Law School , Chennai which has its private ownership and offers a 5 years course of law. Chennai campus offers only the law course of 5 years duration. is any entrance exam to join the college, what is the minimum or the cutoff more need to join the college, what is the annual fee of the college.
Yes there are entrance exams like CLAT and LSAT which are going to be held in MAY,June and in VIT law college is accepting admissions through them as there are only 180 seats for BBA and cutoff is General category candidates need minimum 45% marks in the qualifying exam, while SC and ST candidates need only 40% marks. The fees structure is 8.05 lakhs for 5 years.
