VIT School of Law (VITSOL), Chennai provides admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. VITSOL admissions are entrance exam-based. VITSOL Chennai provides BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons) programmes at the UG level. VIT School of Law UG admissions will be made based on the scores in CLAT/ VITLEE exams.

• VITSOL Chennai admissions are offered to the UG and PG courses, including BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons) and LLM.

VITSOL Admission Process for BBA LLB/ BA LLB Hons

• Meet the VIT School of Law Chennai BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons) eligibility criteria. 

• Appear and qualify for the entrance exam- CLAT/ VITLEE.

• Fill out the application form and pay the required application fees

• Candidates will be shortlisted for further rounds (group discussion and personal interview) based on their performance in class 12th and CLAT/ VITLEE-India score.

• Following that, shortlisted applicants will be called for counselling.

• The final list will be prepared based on the marks secured in class 12th and the performance in the group discussion and personal interview.

• Final admission will be offered after the verification of documents and payment of the VITSOL Chennai admission fees.

The institute offers a total of three courses at the postgraduate level. VIT School of Law PG courses include LLM International Law and Development, LLM Intellectual Property Law and LLM Corporate Laws. The duration of the VIT School of Law courses is 1 year. VITSOL Chennai LLM Admission Process

• For admission to the VIT School of Law LLM, candidates are required to fulfil the eligibility criteria.

• Next, eligible candidates have to fill out the VITSOL LLM application form.

• Appear and qualify for the All India Admission Test (AIAT) conducted by the VIT Chennai or any other All India Admission Test equivalent to CLAT PG/ AIAT/ AILET (All India Law Entrance Test).

• Further, candidates have to appear for an interview at the IT Chennai Campus.

• The last step of the VIT School of Law admission process includes seat allotment, document verification and admission fee payment.

• Copy of Provisional Admission Letter

• Copy of any Age Proof certificate/ Aadhar

• Qualifying examination mark statements of all attempts

• CLAT/ VITLEE scorecard

• Transfer Certificate/ School Leaving Certificate

• Migration Certificate (if issued by the board)

• Community Certificate (for SC/ST applicants)

• Nativity Certificate (For applicants hailing from Jammu and Kashmir/Ladakh and the North Eastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura)

• Four recent passport-size colour photos

• Affidavit to be signed separately by Student, Parent & Hostel on Rs.20/- non-judicial Stamp Paper Affidavit
