What is the rank that is required to get Haldia Institute of technology (CSE) BRANCH through jelet?
Hello aspirant,m
I hope that you are doing absolutely great.
With reference to your above mentioned query, I would like to tell you that in order to get CSE or other related branch in Haldia Institute of Technology, you need to get a minimum rank of within 8K through WBJEE and JELET types of Exams. Since you have not mentioned your category rank, I am considering you as a General category student.
Further, it is quite difficult to correctly predict that you will get CSE branch with this rank as the Cutoff rank for JEE mains and other competitive exams varies every year and is different for different category and varies from colleges to college.
Further, if you wish to know more about WBJEE Cutoff, then you can consider following the belwo mentioned link to know more on this : https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/wbjee-cutoff
further, you can also check the JEE mains college predictor tool to know your admission chances in other Engineering colleges based on teh JEE mains rank and percentile score : https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=jee_cp
I hope that this will help.

Hello Sachin,
JELET is an entrance examination conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) for the admission of 2nd year Engineering, Technology and Pharmacy courses in participating universities, government colleges as well as self financing engineering and technological institutes under WBJEEB.
As you have mentioned that you are not a resident of West Bengal, so you cannot take admission in any reserved category seat in any college or in any Government College since you do not have the domicile certificate of the state but you can surely participate in the entrance test.
Hope this helps,
All the best!!
