Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU), Wayanad offers admissions to the B.V.Sc Animal Health programme based on NEET scores and to theM.V.Sc programme based on the merit of the entrance test followed by an interview conducted by the authorities of the university. Students also have to appear for the counselling process conducted by the institute. Also, students have to visit the university campus to get their documents verified and pay the admission fees. For B.V.Sc Animal Health Programme-
Candidates seeking admission in this programme have to appear for NEET and secure a valid score.

Gymnasium- Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University provides gymnasium facilities for the students, faculty and staff all throughout the day. The gym is fully air-conditioned and well equipped with all necessary equipment needed for conducting all exercises and workouts. Trainers are also provided to guide and help students and faculty during their workout sessions.
- Auditorium- The auditorium is well equipped with speakers and projectors where all events and fests are conducted.
- Central Library- The central library is well equipped with a huge collection of books, CD-ROMs, databases, thesis, journals, project reports, micro documents etc.
Computer Centre- The Computer Centre acts as the central unit for the Institute with systems provided with all updated software and applications meeting the requirements of technology. The computer centre is also provided with internet facilities.
