Questions related to KEAM

Hello,

First of all I would like to tell you that admission in All the Government and Private Medical Colleges present in India for the courses MBBS, BDS, BAMS etc are done through NEET - UG Examination.

NEET 2021 results have been declared by the National Testing Agency NTA.

To predict whether you will definitely get a seat in a college is an uphill task as cut-offs for colleges change every depending upon several factors such as-

• Number of applicants in NEET exam

• NEET question paper difficulty level

• Score of the candidates in NEET 2021 result

• MBBS/BDS seat matrix 2021

NEET 2021 Cut-off goes like :-

• General /EWS- 50th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC - 40th percentile

• General-PwD - 45th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC-PwD - 40th percentile

Marks wise cut off is as following-

• General - 720-138

• OBC/SC/ST - 137-108

• Gen PwD - 137-122

• (OBC /SC / ST ) PwD - 121-108

Though it was expected that due to higher difficulty level of examination cut-off for colleges will decrease, but it turns out students have performed exceptionally well and the cut offs for colleges is expected to increase compared to last year.

See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the counselling is yet to be conducted and the cut-offs keep on changing every year.

It would have been helpful for us to help you with college details had you mentioned your All India Rank and marks you have scored in NEET examination.

Thank you.

Hello dear,

If you have got your required  college itself in the first allotment  then you should go to the respective college and take the permanent admission.  You need the college fees at the time of your admission. If your are looking for another colleges then you should take temporary admission and wait for the 2nd allotment.

All the best for your future.

Hi student,

It is difficult to predict because cut-offs changes from year to year and depends on many factors like

*Number of students appeared in KEAM

*Caste Category of the students

*Difficulty level of KEAM Exam

*Number of seats available

As you have not mentioned the Category you belongs to so I'm considering it as General Category and giving information based on it.

For your KEAM Rank you have chances of getting B.E/ B.Tech Mechanical Engineering in below mentioned Colleges based on previous year's Closing Ranks.

Adi Sankara Institute of Engineering & Technology, Kalady, Ernakulam

College of Engineering, Muttathara

College of Engineering & Management, Punnapra

College of Engineering, Munnar

Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, Koovapally, Kanjirapally

To predict Colleges you can get for your KEAM Rank using below mentioned College Predictor Tool.

Hope this information was useful to you.

Oct. 9, 2021

Hello ,

If you are more interested in civil engineering then that is good for you.....

The same goes for b.Sc computer engineering ,means if you have interest in computer side then that is also good for you.

Both branches or courses are good but It's all up to you that in which side you are good and more comfortable.....

Nowadays the scope is increasing in both these branches.....but on thing is if you start with civil engineering ans then start you own private sector with proper management and experience then this field is more profitable than computer engineering.....

Here I'm describing the difference between b.sc computer engineering and b.tech civil engineering

B.sc computer engineering

With increasing interest and technology of Computer Engineering ,the scope in this branch is increasing with the evolution of data science, big data, artificial intelligence and machine learning.

The software publishing industry is also poised for growth (software publishing is a main focus of computer science degrees).....

In this field ,job chances are higher than civil engineering with high pay scale and wide range of companies such as computer hardware system companies, computer networking companies, software development companies, academic institutions and many more....

Computer education in India is so important that people who do other degrees also do additional computer-based certification courses to add value to their degree....

B.tech Civil engineering

Civil engineering is known for to the stream of engineering that primarily deals in construction and designing.civil engineering has been and will always remain one of the most relevant and demanded professional fields....

With few years of experience, civil engineer can earn upto average INR 10-15 lakh per annum.Civil engineering is a domain of studies that offers opportunities for quick appraisals in career....

Civil Engineering accounts for most of the employment in the engineering field in india or foreign...

A civil engineer can opt to specialise in one of their fields, or they can pursue entrepreneurship or management opportunities. Civil Engineering is a highly profitable profession, with the best minimum pay or salaries of any discipline....

Hope this helps

All the best for your Future !
