Scholarships are awarded to students who have performed excellently well in their academics. Sri Krishnadevaraya University scholarships are also offered to needy and meritorious students. The students of the university are also encouraged to apply for various state and national scholarships.
Sri Krishnadevaraya University scholarships are also offered in the form of fee concession to its students. The state-level scholarship that students belonging to Andhra Pradesh can apply for is the Post Matric Scholarship. The scholarship scheme is available to all the students belonging to SC, ST, BC, EBC (other than Kapu), Kapu, Minority, Differently-abled categories on a saturation basis. The eligibility criteria and the amount of Sri Krishnadevaraya University scholarships is given in the table below:

Post Matric Scholarship | Candidates must pursue polytechnic, ITI or degree courses from any government/aided/private colleges, affiliated to the State Universities/ Boards. 75% attendance in aggregate. The annual income of the family must be less than or equal Rs 2.50 lakhs. The total land holding of the family must be less than 10 acres of wet or 25 acres of dry or 25 acres of both dry and wet together. No member of the family of the candidate must be a government employee/pensioner. | The scheme offers Rs 20,000 per person per year to every eligible student for food and hostel expenses. |
The national level scholarship schemes that students can apply for are- Post Matric Scholarship which is offered by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Govt. of India and Central Sector Scheme of Scholarship for College and University students offered by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Higher Education. Students should not be availing the benefit of any other scholarship scheme including State run scholarship schemes/Fee waiver and reimbursement scheme. Students should not be pursuing Diploma courses. |
