About BRAU SriKakulam
In 1978-79, the academic year at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar PG Center commenced on a 49-acre land. Following the recommendations of the National Knowledge Commission, the university underwent restructuring, resulting in the transformation of the existing Dr. B. R. Ambedkar PG Center into Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, Srikakulam, in 2008. The new campus expanded to cover an impressive 168 acres.
Dr BR Ambedkar University courses are Diploma, DEd, BBA, BSc, BSc (H), BCA, BA, BA (H), BBA, BA LLB, BCom, BCom (H), BEd, BHM, BPEd, BTech at the UG level. BRAU PG Courses are PGD, MCom, MSc, MEd, MLibISc, LLM, MCJ, MCA and others.
Currently, the university boasts a faculty strength of 90 members. Admission is offered through an entrance exam (AP EAPCET/ AP ICET). Students have to fulfill the minimum admission criteria to appear for the test. The campus is well-connected, providing broadband and Wi-Fi internet access at a speed of 1GB, ensuring students have reliable access to digital resources.
