ANU, as a state university, doesn’t provide direct placement opportunities to its students. Students pursuing their academic studies in its affiliated colleges are offered placement opportunities by their respective colleges from top recruiters. Those pursuing higher studies on the ANU campus are offered a limited placement opportunity. The university doesn’t offer a central placement and training center on the campus. However, the placements take place department wise. So, the department of various courses is responsible for the recruitment drive.
Step 1: Stage one consists of the university contacting various companies and inviting them to conduct placement drive. Various businesses also approach the university first to obtain approval for their placement drive.
Step 2: Interested recruiters will accept the invitation of the university, and the university will accept various recruitment permissions from various companies.
Step 3: The companies that will conduct a placement drive will have to register with the university. They must set a date for the interview.
Step 4: Recruiting companies will provide pre-placement talk and provide information about the organization or company to the students.
Step 5: Recruitment will then be conducted through interview and document verification, and skill tests.
Step 6: Students who qualify and meets the recruiting companies needs will be selected and offered job along with salary details.
Students are encouraged to seek for job opportunities outside the campus too.
