Students who belong to the reserved section of the society and are in need of financial help can avail various scholarships offered by the university. UOM Mysore scholarships can be availed by students who meet the eligibility criteria. The university offers various state-level scholarships. It is registered on the Karnataka State Scholarship Portal. A few of the Mysore University scholarships are reserved for students enrolled into engineering/medical courses. The Centre For Proficiency Development and Placement Services (CPDPS) of the university looks after the placements of the students. CPDPS is responsible for inviting companies to University of Mysore placement drives.
