The BGR campus is a small campus with a single building with two blocks. The classrooms are equipped with smart boards and you will get a Wi-Fi connection upon configuration on your laptop or phone. All the floors are well-maintained and clean. The washrooms are adequate and are always kept clean. The women's washroom also has sanitary pad vending machines
Christ University's academics is one of the best in the country. It's heavily inter-disciplined and up to date with today's competitive market, no matter the subjects. The skills taught make us job-ready. Regular tests and assignments are given so you don't have time to chill and be detached from your studies.
Placement packages depend on the department you are in. Business management and engineering receive the highest packages, until 25LPA. Humanities and social sciences receive a lower package but are good enough for freshers. Placements happen for both internships and full-time. Industry experts come to the campus to share their knowledge as well.
Since it's a private university, the fees are relatively expensive but if compared to other private institutions, it's cheaper. You will get worth of every month. The faculties hail from reputed institutions and bring in their subject expertise. There are various clubs that one can join and gather co-curricular and soft skills.
Christ University is known for its strictness, rigid dress code, and high attendance bar but in return they will fulfill your college life with the campus festivals. Every event, minor or major is a student and something is happening all the time on campus. We don't have any major fests where celebrity guests are called over but the annual ethnic day compensates for all.
The infrastructure is amazing and it gives a feeling of a professional set as well as providing the right platform for expressing your thought. The infrastructure is very well maintained and updated as required.
The course does give you a almost degree understanding about how to corporate world looks and the every changing retread of the same but I feel it somewhere lacks in case of providing the oracticak experience.
The placement is decent as almost everyone gets placed after MBA. Although the ROI is something that needs to be given a higher kick as not everyone will be able to get the ROI via the placements provided.
It's decent enough as the college does provide with a lot of opportunity in case of conducting fests, seminars, research assistance etc but when it comes to the ROI of we get placed, not everyone gets the opportunity to take advantage of it.
The campus life is really amazing as everything is quite accessible from the college. Even the campus itself has a large variety of food stalls, lush green area to relax and a huge library for the bibliophile.
Christ University Central campus is known for its infrastructure. The campus is great with lush greenery around. It’s usually windy within the campus. There are a lot of facilities, I have personally not used all of them, but you can use facilities depending on your needs. A wide variety of food is available throughout campus, so you don’t have to worry about being hungry in campus.
I am a student of BA theatre studies, English and psychology. I joined the course mostly for psychology. But later I realised that Theatre studies is the father subject and most of my time was taken up by rehearsals. It gets hectic balancing rehearsals and two other major subjects. It’s good for students wanting to do theatre . There is international faculty , but the faculty could be increased. Not a lot of people are aware about the course even within the campus. The psychology courses offered are good but sometimes faculty appointed to my batch wasn’t that great. We were supposed to do only theatre internship as course requirement. We weren’t supposed to psychology internship, however you can do it outside of college on your own. I was a little disappointed with this because as it if a triple major course I expected all three subjects to be given equal importance. But the good news is now the course has become BA theatre and psychology from 2023 batch. It is a four year course where three years you study both subjects and in the final year you get to choose your major.
Placements are good. It depends a lot on the student. The student has to be well equipped and prepared. I haven’t sat for placements so I can’t speak a lot about it. But I have seen recruiters coming and students getting placed too.
My course is around 3l( 21-24 batch). I think the amount of fees they charge is fine. However it would be better if they give equal importance to all courses. This has started to happen from 2023 batch.
Campus is very happening. There are events going all the time. Due to my course, I personally couldn’t enjoy a lot of campus life , but I see other students make the best out of their times in campus.
The college has got a brilliant infrastructure in terms of the technological expansion, classroom build, Auditorium, Library, internet connection etc. and all of it are maintained well and they engange in continuous innovation.
It's a mix of best and average teachers within the campus where majority engange in very interactive classroom sessions while others stick to the conventional method. Even though the additional activities added every curriculum does help the students to improve their industry knowledge.
The placement committee of the college is very strong as the moment we start with our final year, we start getting opportunities to sit for placements and get our dream job. During my year almost 80 % of the students got placed directly via college with an average salary of 7-8 LPA.
The fees was around 65,000-70,000 and the experience that was provided in terms of both academic and co curricular exposure was worth every penny spent. You might incurr some additional cost for IVs etc but the college does make you ready for the corporate exposure.
I was in the Bannerghatta campus which is comparatively very small so the campus was not much to roam around in. But location wise, everything is quite accessible from the college.
Christ is overall a challenging university to be in. The attendance and curriculum is pretty meticulous. It has a lot of extra curricular activities and fests held which makes college a mix of various experiences but it is highly essential to be able to balance between the two. It has all the infrastructure required for a student be it a library, laboratories, smart boards, etc. Everything is taken care of. They also provide student accommodations within campus which have satisfactory reviews for the stay.
I'm studying bcom fa, this couse is partially integrated with ca. Classes start from 6:30am and go on till noon. After which, we have CA classes that are held from 1 pm - 6:30pm approximately. Christ provides in house ca coaching which is pretty moderate. This course is designed to provide enough time for ca training and hence the syllabus includes majority of ca subjects and topics. However, sometimes balancing bcom with ca at christ can be challenging
Bcom fa students usually don't sit for placements, If we do, then we need to sign a declaration in order to sit for placements. However, other courses have enough guidance and training provided before recruitments.
It varies from geographical regions and residential status. The fee structure is reasonable enough.
Campus life is vibrant. The canteens and consecutive fests from various departments always have the campus filled with high spirits
Only the infrastructure is good, otherwise a very shit college. Very strict, will do partiallity between south and north crowd. Instead get into different college like DU, the ROI will be much higher.
Very rigid acadamics. Teachers teach the practical subjects as if they are theory. If you miss the CIA which are like the unit tests which we had in school - there will be a fine of 8000 along with 15 days of mandatory library attendece and an exam.
Placements are average. They show it very good on their website, but the truth is mostly it is 3-4 lacs per annum. They will leave no opportunity to turn you into a corporate slave. If you are a kind of person who wants to do startups or something else dont join it
Christ University is the greediest instituition of all. If you think that only the fees will the cost of degree, then you are wrong. They take money in everything. If the attendence is below 85% they will take money 5k,10k, etc. if you miss cia they will take money 8k.
The campus life can be appreciated. It is good. There are several clubs where you can take part and show your skills.
Christ University has an esteemed reputation for its campus infrastructure. The campus has a warm, clean and welcoming environment. Apart from the spacious classrooms, the library and cafeteria spaces serve their purposes well and make a student feel comfortable.
My curriculum is B.com integrated with CIMA which should ideally align with all the subjects of CIMA but I do not see much relation as such. Our class timings are 6:30 AM -1:00 PM which makes it convenient to prepare for other professional qualifications. Overall I find that there is a need to work on the management of both qualifications. We have seminars from time to time and internship compulsory during the course which provides some practical experience and knowledge.
I have not personally sat for placements as yet but based on my seniors experience they are decently good. Only drawback being one certain course of the department being favoured by companies over others.
Based on the fees paid of 2,15,000 rupees per year we would expect the management to be excellent but there are multiple issues with exemptions, faculty treatment, CIMA integration and time management for a student in general which defeats the purpose of an integrated course. The overall growth by the end of our course and other facilities add value.
Our campus accommodates all kinds of activities for students to engage in. I am a part of the theatre team which has given me immense exposure to public speaking, leadership and networking while managing my academics along with it. The staff is generally supportive but may cause some issues in terms of exemptions from classes when required. We have a huge campus which can seem overcrowded at times but a positive experience overall.
Christ University in my opinion with all its flaws and shortcomings still has potential of bringing out the best in students as we al learn to overcome hurdles and juggle with various tasks at once which not only provides exposure but also experience in different firlds.
State - of- Art labs, sprawling campuses, modern amenities and vibrant spaces with lush green spaces, I feel that it creates an inspiring environment for me as student for academic and personnel development.
The academic atmosphere is unparalleled, fostering a dynamic energy of knowledge and innovation. I personally feel that the academic environment of my college is very satisfactory and i am glad to join this college for my under graduation.
Since i am pursuing BA Eng (hons.), we dont really focus on placement because our career journey if very vast. But when i asked my seniors from management school their placement percentage is way more than I expected. Hence i am really satisfied with the placement from my colleges.
Christ university has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment required. It has multiple lifts in all the blocks. The classrooms are well equipped with a screen projector and white boards, with ample seating space.
MBA in christ follows the trimester pattern, which is more hectic than the usual semester pattern. Curriculum is changed from year to year which makes it updated and helpful to the current batch. Quality of teaching is excellent.
My seniors have an average placements of 9LPA. The placements is still on going for the current batch. Mutiple internships oppurtunites are provided which can be converted into pre placement offers during placements.
numerous events keep happening at the campus.
They have a Great infrastructure, amazing facilities like incubation cell, very nice auditoriums, amazing campus, many cafeterias. But Wifi is configured, you can't access it on your mobile phones,it's only for laptops.
Full mba program is Case study based, faculty is experienced and very helpful as well as approachable.Thete are varieties of external and internal management fests in which you can take part. They have a trimester system.
Average placements is mainly 7-10lakhs and also one good thing is college don't accept company offer placements below 6 lakhs, so the least package which you can get is 6lakhs. 70% overall placement .
Yes it's ROI is worth
You will get to experience all cultures of India under one roof.
