    Acharya Narendra Dev College, New Delhi Admission Process

    Acharya Narendra Dev College (ANDC), New Delhi offers admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. ANDC New Delhi admission to UG and PG courses is done on the basis of entrance exam or merit. ANDC New Delhi UG admission is based on the CUET scores and done through Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). ANDC New Delhi admission process to UG courses is done in three phases. In the first phase, candidates are required to fill the CSAS application form. In phase second, candidates have to select the course and college preference. The last and third phase includes seat allocation in multiple rounds and final admission based on a merit list.

    ANDC New Delhi PG admission is done based on Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET). As per the DU guidelines, 50% of the total seats are filled based on the merit of the qualifying exam and the remaining seats are filled based on rank in the entrance test. For the ANDC New Delhi selection process, candidates who completed their graduation from any of the DU affiliated colleges in the relevant field can opt for merit-based admission. Further, candidates graduating from different universities or colleges with a bachelor’s degree in different subjects must qualify the Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) conducted by NTA.

    ANDC New Delhi Application Process

    • Visit the official website of https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/.

    • Click on the ‘Register’ link after opening the CUET website.

    • Candidates have to read the given instructions and click on the ‘Proceed’ button.

    • Then, candidates are required to fill in all the academic and personal details.

    • Submit requisite scanned documents such as photograph, signature, class 10th mark sheet and category certificate (if applicable).

    • Pay the application fee online through credit/debit card/net banking/UPI.

    • Later, submit the application form and keep a hard copy of the form for future reference.

    ANDC New Delhi UG Admissions

    ANDC New Delhi offers a total of 13 courses at the undergraduate level. The UG courses offered by the college are B.Com Hons, B.Sc (Hons.) and B.Sc. The duration of the ANDC New Delhi UG courses is 3 years. ANDC New Delhi admission eligibility criteria to UG courses is that candidates must have secured a valid score in CUET.

    ANDC New Delhi UG Admission Process

    • Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria need to fill out the CUET application form for ANDC New Delhi UG admission.

    • Next, candidates have to appear and qualify the entrance exam- CUET conducted by the NTA.

    • Then, the colleges will release the cutoff list and candidates who meet the ANDC New Delhi cutoff can proceed with the further admission round.

    • ANDC New Delhi BSc, BSc (Hons)  admission is based on the CUET scores. However, ANDC New Delhi BCom (Hons) admission is also done based on candidate scores in CUET.  

    • Further, candidates whose names appear on the ANDC New Delhi cutoff list will be selected and they need to participate in the counselling process.

    • In the counselling process, seats are allotted to the candidates based on the scores in CUET.

    • To confirm ANDC New Delhi admission to UG courses, candidates are required to get their documents verified and pay the admission fees.

    ANDC New Delhi offers two postgraduate programmes. ANDC New Delhi courses at the PG level include M.Sc Chemistry and M.Sc Mathematics. The course duration of the M.Sc course is 2 years.

    Eligibility in entrance category- Minimum 55% aggregate marks in B.Sc. (H) Chemistry/B.Sc. (Genl.)/B.Sc. (Pass)/B.Sc. (Prog.), recognised by University of Delhi and should have passed 10+2 with Mathematics and B.Sc. (H) Chemistry/B.Sc. (Genl.)/B.Sc. (Pass)/B.Sc. (Prog.) with at least two papers of Mathematics.


    Eligibility in merit category- Minimum 60% aggregate marks in B.Sc. (H) Chemistry from University of Delhi only with at least two papers of Mathematics.

    M.Sc Mathematics


    Eligibility in entrance category- Minimum 50% aggregate marks in bachelor’s degree in any stream or equivalent (45% for OBC candidates and 40% for SC/ST candidates).


    Eligibility in merit category- Minimum 60% aggregate marks in B.A. (H)/B.Sc. (H) examination in Mathematics of University of Delhi or equivalent (54% for OBC candidates and 40% for SC/ST candidates).

    ANDC New Delhi PG Admission Process (Entrance Based)

    • First, candidates are required to meet the eligibility criteria for ANDC New Delhi PG admission.

    • Eligible candidates have to register and appear for Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET) conducted by NTA. 

    • Then, 50% of the seats are filled on the basis of merit of the qualifying examination and the rest 50% of the seats are filled on the basis of the entrance test.

    • Candidates appearing for DUET have to meet the ANDC New Delhi cutoff, after which ranks and merit list are released.

    • Further, candidates meeting the cutoff have to register and appear for DUET counselling and select Acharya Narendra Dev College, New Delhi.

    • For ANDC New Delhi  PG entrance-based admission, seats are allotted to the candidates on the basis of ranks obtained by the candidates in the entrance test and participation in the counselling.

    • Final admission is confirmed after verification of documents and  ANDC New Delhi admission fee payment.

    ANDC New Delhi PG Admission Process (Merit Based)

    • For ANDC New Delhi PG admission, candidates have to fulfil the eligibility criteria.

    • Next, eligible candidates have to register themselves on the DU admission portal.

    • ANDC New Delhi MSc admission is offered based on the merit scores obtained by candidates in the bachelor’s degree.

    • However, 50% of the total seats are filled on the basis of the candidate's merit in the qualifying examination. The remaining seats are filled on the basis of candidates‘ rank in the entrance test.

    • Later, candidates need to get all their documents verified and pay the ANDC New Delhi admission fees.
