I think the infrastructure needs to improve daily some things happen but it is slowly getting better acs are installed in classrooms and the campus has lot of greenary . The classroom s have also installed projectors recently.
Overall proffesors are very good of my department. I can say other department teachers specially commerce are not good I have heard. But my experience with teachers is good they give you in depth knowledge and are ready to answer doubts exceptions are always there.
For interships also there is a lot of competition and mostly people from our department go for higher studies like msc or integrated phd and many people have been selected in good institutions all over India and also abroad but they have worked a lot on their skills overall not only academics.
The infrastructure of my college is very disappointing. The infrastructure is poorly maintained with broken benches and limited facilities. There is ineduquate cleaniness in several areas of the campus.
Academically the quality of teaching in my college is unreliable. Somehow few faculty members are supportive while some were very unbothered. There is no regular interaction of professors with students.
Placements in my college is below expectation. No such reputed company visits our placement cell students has to look our for jobs by themselves The campus atmosphere was not as lively or welcoming as expected based on the information provided during admission process.
Value for money in collage is more like an poor , the amount is hight the expensive and all as compared to learning the money is high and education is low .
My campus life is average. There is very limited extracurricular activities and no fests. The overall environment felt less vibrant compared to what was promised during admission process.
The college has decent infrastructure for academic and classrooms are simple but functional. Labs are well equipped especially for science courses and the library has good and useful resources. Campus is small but clean
I’m pursuing B.Com (Hons) because of my interest in commerce. The faculty is quite knowledgeable and supportive. The curriculum is updated as per Delhi University standards but practical exposure is limited.
Placements are average, not very high for most of the courses. Students do get good internship and placement opportunities, especially in commerce and science streams, but many rely on off campus opportunities or higher studies for better prospects
The fees is quite affordable compared to private and other Delhi university colleges.
Campus life is good with active societies and events happening regularly. The crowd is diverse and engaging.
The college campus is not very large but it is well-maintained and peaceful. Labs, especially for science courses, are properly equipped and considered one of the strong points of the college. The library is decent and useful for academic preparation. Overall infrastructure is good for studies, though not very modern or luxurious.
ANDC is mainly known for its strong science departments like Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, and Computer Science. The faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. The academic environment is serious and focused, which is helpful for students who genuinely want to study and prepare for higher education or research.
Placements are average. Some good companies visit, especially for Computer Science and Commerce students, but opportunities may not be as high as top DU colleges. Many students prefer higher studies after graduation.
Being a government college under Delhi University, the fees are affordable. Considering the quality of education and DU tag, it provides good value for money.
Campus life is simple and peaceful. There are societies, cultural events, and fests, but the college is more academically oriented rather than overly flashy. It is suitable for students who prefer a balanced and focused environment.
Acharya Narendra Dev College is a good choice for science students who want quality education in Delhi University at an affordable fee. It may not be very glamorous, but academically it has a solid reputation.
labs are very good ,it lacks basic facility like sports ground ,library is not very big (small and well managed) and club activities are there it has all the necessary infrastructure and facilities. Classes need improvement for the summers. college is clean and hygemic
for botany, zoology and lifescience , this is one of good college in DU, all the science branch have more than average labs and classes are regular i had studied B.sc mathematics (hons), quality of teaching is not that good but few teacher are good and intreactive yes the course are updated and upto recent development, but it does get us ready for higher education
quality of placement is not good minimal percent(very few go lab work and some computer science get few guys placed) 50k -60k (it is average salary), as most of the go for m.sc or mtech education a lot for civil services and general exams
it is great value for money , students organised regular fun activities like fest ,sports events and trip and club activities are regular it cost rupee 8k per year but staying is upto you
no night campus life
it is good college to do B.sc in this college because it is one of the total science college of DU
This is a good college and also there teachers are also highly qualified and their campus is also very nice..... learning experience by their qualified teachers is very interesting in this college....
Academics session are very interesting and teachers are also very friendly and have helpful Nature....... It is a very good college for arts and commerce...... over-all this college is very good ....
A large percentage of students securing jobs upon graduation, indicating strong industry demand for graduates from the college.......Access to a range of roles across different sectors, catering to various student interests.
Availability of scholarships, grants, and work-study programs can significantly reduce the overall cost of attendance and improve value for money......Consider the cost of housing, food, transportation, and other living expenses in the college town or city, as this can significantly impact the overall cost of attending.
A vibrant campus culture with extracurricular activities, clubs, and social events can enhance the overall college experience and add value beyond just academics....
the college infrastructure is decent but not very big. the classrooms don't hold more than 50 students properly. the benches are not comfortable either. we have wifi enabled campus and have well facilitated labs. the food is clean and hygienic.
i am pursuing bsc hons biomedical science. the quality of teaching is amazing and teachers are highly experienced. the curriculum is up to date and includes a lot of practical and hands on work which makes us job ready.
the placement cell is average. the con is that it mainly focuses on computer science students. the average package is around 3lpa. i don't know the highest package amount but it went into computer science department. they do conduct regular workshops and seminars on important topics and conduct placement drives from time to time.
the college infrastructure is decent. the classrooms aren't very big and the buildings have gotten very old. we have an air conditioned library with many books and ebooks. we have a wifi enabled campus which works well most of the time. the food prepared is hygienic and cleanliness is maintained at all times.
i am pursuing bsc hons biomedical science in this college. the quality of teaching is superb and teachers are highly experienced and supportive, our curriculum is according to the new nep pattern and has the major developments in the field. the course is practical based and gives a good hands on experience.
the placements are average in our college. the placement cell however conducts regular workshops and provides internship opportunities but mainly to computer science students. being a first year student, I don't have much idea about the exact amount of salary offered but I think the average is 3lpa.
The college infrastructure is not upto the mark. The campus isn't very big and the classrooms are small in size compared to the number of students in the class. The classrooms do not have cctv cameras and the fans don't work properly at times. However the classrooms, labs and libraries are kept clean at all times and are well maintained.
I am pursuing B.Sc Hons Biomedical Science. The quality of teaching is outstanding and the teachers are highly experienced in their field of study. Regular tests, assignments, exams and practicals are conducted to ensure regular assessment. The curriculum is updated as per the needs of today and since this is a field of research, it mainly focuses on drug research, human diseases and similar concepts. However, this field requires a deeper knowledge than just a degree and it is really vast and requires a good hands on experience.
The college offers a fair quality of placements. However, the placements are mainly confined to the IT sector. A fair percentage of students are placed every year in companies like Wipro, DeltaX, GarudaUVA etc. I am still a first year student so I don't know about the highest package offered yet. Average salary offered was for 3lpa. The college has a separate placement cell that conducts regular workshops, seminars and placement drives to help students derive maximum benefits from it.
Good facility and the teachers are very considerate and cares about students. I like the greenry theme of my college. The ground is big and there are good sports courts to carry out various sports practices.
Good and amazing courses available providing wide range of domain interests for anyone who wants to learn something new or build an interest. The learning and accessing is easy and very easy to understand as well.
I don't have necessary information about this one but yeah its good. More over the experience i have had is good and i have seen people talking positive anout it and i don't regret my decision of admission here.
