I am in my 3rd year so I don't know much about the placement opportunities but I have talked to some of my seniors and the students of placement cell of my collage they say that there are numerous companies every year which come in this collage for placement
It has been well built in terms of infrastructure development. Especially, the library is well maintained. Besides that, the canteen was recently renovated when I was student there. The laboratory were well equipped for the experiments.Indeed, we used to have an amazing time there.
Yes, Our course curriculum of Zoology was well updated to the latest need. We had few subjects of applied nature like Apiculture, Animal Biotechnology and Parasitology. Besides that, we used to have timely field and institutional visit to update us with the latest developments.
To be honest, placements were good in few courses only like Bcom and Economics. In others courses, it were average type only of 4-5 LPA. During our time, the highest package in Bcom was 16 LPA for 2 people.
Yes, the course fees was worth the money. Our course fees was around 21k per year. It was decent and affordable for a person who hails from a middle class background. Today, I am into a Central Government Services. I feel that I am getting my money worth that I spent during my education.
It is just amazing. Hansraj College is the worthy place to spend time at. I personally enjoyed all the events like Fests, events etc. I learnt a lot from my classmates as it was a PAN group with diverse experiences.
I want to say that this college is a worthy choice for the new comers.
The infrastructure of Hansraj College strikes a fine balance between heritage and functionality, making it one of the better-equipped colleges under the University of Delhi. The campus is spacious, green, and well-maintained, creating a conducive academic environment amid North Campus’s otherwise crowded setting. Classrooms are adequately sized, many of them being smart classrooms with projectors and audio systems to support modern teaching methods. The college library is a major highlight—well-stocked with academic books, journals, newspapers, and digital resources, along with ample seating space for students. Hansraj also has a large auditorium and seminar halls that regularly host academic conferences, cultural events, and guest lectures. The science departments are supported by properly equipped laboratories, while commerce and arts students benefit from dedicated computer labs and discussion rooms. Sports infrastructure is another strength, with facilities for cricket, football, basketball, table tennis, and a well-maintained gymnasium, reflecting the college’s emphasis on extracurricular development. Overall, Hansraj College’s infrastructure supports both academic rigor and holistic growth, offering students a comfortable and resource-rich campus experience.
Academically, Hansraj offers a wide spectrum of undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses including B.Sc (Hons) in fields like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Life Sciences; B.Com (Hons) with comprehensive coverage of subjects such as finance, accounting, and international business; and BA (Hons) specializations such as Economics, English, History, Hindi and Philosophy. At the PG level, the college provides M.Sc, M.A, and M.Com programs along with various certificate, diploma, and add-on courses that enhance employability and skill development
Hansraj College has continued to uphold a strong placement record in its recent recruitment cycles, reflecting the institution’s robust industry connections and the active role of its Placement Cell in bridging academia with the corporate world. In the 2024–25 placement season, the college reported an average package of around ₹9 lakh per annum and a median package of about ₹8.4 lakh, with the highest domestic package reaching approximately ₹23 lakh. Over 200 job offers were extended to students across disciplines such as science, commerce, and arts, contributing to a gross package value exceeding ₹18 crore for the year. Recruiters during this period spanned diverse sectors including consulting, finance, IT, and research, with prominent names such as Deloitte, Accenture, EY, KPMG, PwC, HCL, Byju’s, ICICI Bank, and Optum participating in on-campus drives.
From a value-for-money perspective, Hansraj College stands out as one of the most cost-effective higher-education institutions in India. With annual fees that are extremely low compared to private universities, the academic exposure, brand value, and opportunities offered are disproportionately high. The college benefits from experienced faculty, a rigorous academic environment, and a strong culture of societies, research, consulting, debating, and entrepreneurship, which significantly enhances overall student development beyond classrooms. Its location within the University of Delhi ecosystem ensures access to inter-college competitions, seminars, and a diverse peer group, while the Hansraj brand carries substantial weight in internships, corporate placements, and postgraduate admissions. Although infrastructure may not be as modern as expensive private campuses and administrative processes can sometimes be slow, the return on investment in terms of learning, exposure, peer network, and long-term career dividends is exceptionally high. Overall, for students seeking quality education, strong peer learning, and career leverage at a minimal financial cost, Hansraj College is undeniably value for money.
Campus life at Hansraj College is fast-paced, competitive, and deeply rooted in a strong academic culture. Days usually begin early with packed lecture schedules, crowded corridors, and students constantly juggling classes with society work. The campus thrives on intellectual discussions, whether it’s debating economics, politics, or current affairs in the lawns, corridors, or nearby North Campus cafés. Societies play a major role in shaping daily life—ranging from consulting and finance to dramatics, debating, music, and sports—keeping students engaged well beyond classroom hours. There’s a clear culture of ambition: internships, competitions, research work, and CV-building are common conversations. At the same time, the campus retains a lively social side through fests, open-mic events, informal meetups, and late evenings spent preparing for events or simply unwinding with friends. Overall, campus life at Hansraj is intense yet enriching, pushing students to grow academically, professionally, and personally within a highly driven peer environment.
Super cool infra, just that it's a bit small area wise as compared to the other collages. But the canteen and the library are top notch also the ground is well maintained and you have so many palaces to chill.
Wonderful, teachers actually put in efforts and entertain all sorts of doubts personally and professionally too. And students are super smart so you'll have a health competitor's who majorly support you.
Good placement structure, top companies approach the college. Placement cell really manages overall things professionally and makes sure that no student is left unaware. The whole Placement process also teaches you a lot of things.
Indeed, it's upto you as to how you utilize it though.
Beautiful and memorable, you'll make freinds for life you'll learn a lot in the process both academically and personality wise too.
All blocks are fully air‑conditioned most classrooms have projectors, Wi‑Fi, and charging sockets per seat though some ACs run too cold or too weak and they provide bus facilities to students for easy to come college
Hansraj academic setup solid not luxury, but functional and well‑organized. Classrooms are air‑conditioned, equipped with projectors, and most have dedicated seating with power sockets though sometimes only one per row
In 2025, the highest package hit ₹23 LPA*, while the average settled around ₹9 LPA and the median at *₹8.4 LPA a solid jump from previous years many big companies takes interest to take students for job
Hansraj College is _super affordable fees are just ₹20–25k per year, which is way lower than most private colleges or even some DU colleges. You get a solid education, good teachers, and strong placement support. Big companies like Deloitte Ey and Bain come to colleges
Hansraj campus life is easygoing, loud, fun, and full of surprises. You wake up, grab chai at the canteen (₹10–20), go to class air‑con, projector, sometimes Wi‑Fi. Between lectures, you chill with friends
The college infrastructure is pretty good it has all the facilities required and the college is well maintained Good college ground nice canteen infrastructure overall great in this perspective nice
In all of DU in this academics perspective it is very nice and all facilities is nice and teachers are also friendly and nice hansraj has almost all the courses , some of the subjects are unfamiliar with the teachers vut they are improving
Placement statistics of this college is pretty good by seeing the average placement in the delhi University circuit hansraj college is pretty good see if you are eager and willing to learn new skills you can definitely get placement
The infrastructure, facilities and equipments are all great but could be better. Hygiene in washrooms could be improved. Its fully air-conditioned which is definitely a rarity in DU colleges. Overall, its good enough.
The faculty is truly exceptional. Academics are top-notch! Hansraj lives up to its hype in those aspects. Interacting with my professors- specially from the english department- makes me want to be as smart and articulate as them.
Though I havent experienced the placement season yet, I've heard the placements go up to 20 LPA with the average being 8 LPA and the median package going 9 LPA. Top recruiters come here, giving the students great exposure.
The fees is around 20k per year which is very cheap. The value for money is great.
It has good crowd mostly, campus life is amazing as north campus is so hyped for a reason. Theres just something about the beauty of north campus, it will always be so close to my heart.
The college infrastructure is very nice. It has very spacious and smart classrooms. It has a big auditorium and sports complex. It has a cafeteria on campus. It has centralized ac library which is well equipped

yes
Very nice
the college has a very big campus with all the facilities required. the infrastructure is very good. it has centralised ac classrooms, library, auditorium, etc. it also has a gymnasium and a sports complex.
the faculty is very well trained and highly professional. they follow strict schedules and are very punctual. they are very knowledgable and experienced in their respective subjects. they encourage and motivate their students
the college has very great record for placements. they allow top companies to come and take interviews. the recruiters offer great packages and programs which motivates students to perform even better academically
yes worth it
very good
The infrastructure is great overall but the infrastructure for some department's classes, like English and History was pretty average as the classes for these departments were mostly held in the old building which dosen't have ACs like the rest of the buildings in the college, the stepmotherly treatment by the principal for these departments especilly English department played a part. Washrooms could improve too.
Wonderful professors and curriculum that enriched my experience at Hansraj college. Faculty is knowledgeable and experienced, with some assistant professors outdoing full time professors in their subjects. Learned a lot.
Placements at bachelors level is good for certain departments like Economics, etc. but if you're in english department you really need to actively pursue the opportunities posted by the placement department, and the placement department really don't make an effort to educate students how to go about it. Average at most.
To get tranfer from Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU) to Hansraj College to start again from the first semester is not a standard procedure. You cannot simply/easily migrate mid course to begin as a new student. For that you will need to apply for fresh admission as a new candidate,
