DTSS College of Law, Mumbai Admission Process

DTSS College of Law, Mumbai is an affiliated college recognized by the Bar Council of India (BCI). The institute provides multiple law programs along with specialized courses concerning legal education. The admission process at DTSS College of Law is basically directed towards the selection of candidates who would best fit the programs in LLB, LLM, and a number of postgraduate diploma courses. 5. Entrance Exam/Interview: These will be part of the selection procedure where entrance exam/interviews will be required depending on the program for which admission is sought by the candidate. 

6. Publication of Merit List: On the basis of conditions laid down for each program by the College, a merit list of selected candidates is published.

7. Document Verification: Short-listed candidates are called for document verification and counseling.

8. Fee Payment: Upon successful verification, candidates are required to pay the prescribed fees for the program they have been admitted to.

9. Orientation: An orientation program is conducted for the admitted students to acclimatize them to the college and lay some foundation ground for academic work.

Admission Process Degree wise

LLB: Admission to Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at DTSS College of Law, Mumbai has been approved for an intake of 60 students.Admission is on the basis of the applicant's performance in qualifying examination (10+2) which may also include scores of relevant free law entrance examinations as well.The objective of the course is to provide students with a very thorough understanding of legal principles and practice. 

LLM: DTSS College of Law conducts a Master of Laws (LLM) program for candidates wanting advanced legal education. While specific mention is not made of the intake capacity, the admission process typically involves consideration of the performance of candidates in the LLB degree and may include a personal interview or entrance test conducted by the college or by an affiliated university. 

PGD Intellectual Property Rights: It has an approved intake for 50 students for this Postgraduate Diploma course. It is a specialized program focusing on intellectual property rights law. Admission is likely to be based on the candidate's academic background in law or related fields, along with an interview.

PGD Cyber Law: This Postgraduate Diploma program targets the growing field of cyber law and has an approved intake of 60 students, with consideration for academic qualifications and experience of the candidate in either the legal or IT fields.

Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Yoga: With an approved intake of 60 each, these two program outlines are not directly law-related but are indicative of the other areas the college caters to. Here, admission criteria may also include fitness levels and experience with yoga practice.
