I am studying BALLB and ILS is the best law college in Maharashtra. The quality of teaching is top notch with faculties having specialization and PhD in their respective subjects. The curriculum is not controlled directly by the college, however the university has revised the curriculum to meet the needs of the newer developments in the field.
On an average the college placements are not too high, since most students go for litigation with independent lawyers. The average salaries offered are not too high however all the tier 1 firms do come to college for the campus selection, and also a lot of students get their PPOs from top law firms.
The course costs around 38k per year. The course is worth the money since it includes not just the curriculum and academics but also the extra-curricular activities.
The best features of our college campus is the canteen and the hostel Life that one would get, making friends of many kinds. There is not ragging in ILS hostels and there are strict rules against the same. The college is located in one of the best areas of Pune and the police station is also very close to the college.
The best way to experience the life at ILS would be to not live outside the college hostel and make sure you take part in all the legal cells and societies and enjoy every intra college competition well. Networking with your seniors should be your top priority.
Hello Samridhi,
Well your score is good enough there are chances that you might get GLC based on previous year cutoff because the closing cutoff for GLC was 101.
But there are very less chances of getting ILS with this score because the closing cutoff of ILS previous year was 111.
