Presidency college was one of oldest college in Kolkata. The building of our college was very heritage and large. Well decorated classrooms and well furnished laboratories, canteen and library were also available in our campus.
Academics
The basic criteria of our college was 65% of PCM marks and 75% of chemistry (for B.Sc Chemistry honours). In our time, syllabus was quite tough. Organic, Inorganic and physical chemistry were in our syllabus.Our faculty members were very strict but helpful in our generation.
Placements
Placement after graduation was very tough in our time. From our batch, at about 30-40% got job in small school as a part time teacher after graduation. So most of batchmates like me completed post graduation to secure a job.

Calcutta University was one of best university in kolkata. Our college building was very large, classrooms were fully furnished, ancient library and labs were also there. Small garden and faculty room were also available in our college.

Academic was too good in our college in our generation. Our faculty members were very helpful and knowledge. They cleared all our doubts. I studied Msc food nutrition from this college. This course is basically about health hygiene and food nutrition and food quality.
Placements
After post graduation of Nutrition from this college I got a job in small private school as a nutrition teacher. My other Batchmates got job in some private school and government school. At about 80-90% got job after post graduate.

I studied Bcom honours in our college. Our faculty members were very helpful and knowledge. They helped us a lot to pass the semester exam. Accounts, costing and Taxation, Buisness Studies were in our syllabus in our time.
