Placement are really bad in most of the courses, Placement cell does not give there effort for students Placement and higest packages for btech is about 8lpa while in Vocational course there is no placement and some students place with 2lpa packages.

Calcutta University was one of the oldest college in West Bengal as well as Kolkata. Old heritage building, large classrooms, ancient library, college canteen and small garden were also available in our time. The campus was overall good in our generation.

In our time, basic admission criteria of our college was 60% in 12th. The professors of Calcutta University was too knowledgeable and helpful. They were very strict but kind hearted for the needy students. Grammar literature and other parts were in our syllabus.
