The college maintains it's front the gardens and the front where there's a glass type building it's eye-catching at first and when you go inside you'll find the campus have old infrastructure but some new floors have been made which have new infrastructure as well. The girls washroom has windows which can be quiet weird but the new floor which had the washroom doesn't have it so I think it has some improvement in that area but the ducts doesn't work that well so it also needs improvement.
Academics
For academics if you get a good teacher and you do self study you can easily score 8 SGPA but without lack of self study it's nothing. Teachers could be improved,they shouldn't select teachers with no prior experience.
Placements
I'm not sure about placements as I haven't applied in anything and as being a fresher I don't really know much about this. From the college I've seen posters of people who have done their placements but it's all off campus.

The clubs are hard to find after the orientation for freshers as an introvert I don't know about much clubs because I didn't took photos of their clubs during the presentation and I haven't faced any ragging so it's all good but you can find some creeps too so handle it yourself you can do it I know.

Serampore college was one of the heritage in West Bengal. All building was built in 18th century. So we had heritage garden, old traditional library and canteen. Teacher room and a playground also available in our campus. Many old books are available in this ancient library.

The Basic eligibility criteria of our college admission was 60% of H.S marks and minimum 75% of Bengali(for B.A Bengali honous). Bengali Honours syllabus was quite tough in our time. Grammar, bengali literature and other novels were there in our syllabus. The professors are to knowledgeable and helpful.
Placements
Placement was very moderate after completing Graduation. Some of our batchmates got job in small coaching centres. Every year almost 30-40% students got jobs after graduation. But Real scenario was quite tough. Remaining all we completed Post graduation to get a safe job as school teacher or professor.
