National Institute of Technology Raipur (NITRR) was founded in 1956 by Dr Rajendra Prasad and later inaugurated in 1963 by Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru. In classrooms and labs, smart boards and projectors are used for better teaching. Lab equipment is not up to par. Hostel accommodation is very poor. Only 30% of students get hostels every year. The hostel list is based on merit-based and rank. Mess food quality is average.
College do not have hostel facilities on campus, but other sources are available like PG rooms, rental apartments, etc. Mess facilities are also good at an affordable price. The college provides good infrastructure and provides various facilities, like a central library where lots of books are available, well-maintained labs with well-stocked equipment, and well-furnished classrooms with various other facilities. Wi-Fi is provided in college and is free of charge.
College is having all the facilities just an average they are having classrooms , labs all in average , and there are no hostel facilities , and these all things are maintained not on regular basis with different things.
