GITAM University Facilities

Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management University (GITAM University) Visakhapatnam has an array of facilities provided for its students and staff. GITAM University Visakhapatnam facilities of hostels are available for both the boys and girls students. GITAM University Visakhapatnam students can access free internet and medical facilities.

GITAM University facilities include boys hostels, girls hostel, cafeteria, library, auditorium, sports, bank, transport, wi-fi, and laboratories. GITAM University's hostels are equipped with all the basic facilities like water, electricity, mess, and many more. GITAM University provides an on-campus medical clinic with a 24X7 ambulance service. GITAM University also has a big auditorium for conducting workshops, seminars, and events.

Boys Hostel
There are more than one hostel for the boys in the university campus. GITAM University boys hostel facilities can be availed by the outstation students. The hostels are fully enabled with wi-fi and students can read and learn comfortably in its eco-friendly environment. The hostels have a separate mess and provide hygienically prepared steam-cooked all-time meals. 24X7 security service, doctor on call, indoor games are also available in the hostels.
Girls Hostel
The university campus has more than one hostel for girls. The hostels provide basic facilities like safe drinking water, hygienically prepared food, an uninterrupted power supply, etc. The hostels also provide wardens, qualified doctors and 24X7 security services. Recreational facilities like indoor games are also available in the hostels.
Library
Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management library facility has a vast collection of resources like textbooks, reference books, journals, periodicals, newspapers, magazines, e-books, e-journals, etc.
Sports
GITAM University sports facility has both indoor and outdoor games like chess, carrom, badminton, table tennis, tennis, football, basketball, cricket, handball, volleyball, etc. Separate fields are maintained especially for outdoor games.
Banks/ATMs
GITAM University Visakhapatnam bank facility is available on-campus. Union Bank of India and Indian Bank operate within the campus. 24X7 ATM facility of Union Bank of India, Indian Bank and Karur Vysya Bank is also available.
Auditorium
Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management Visakhapatnam auditorium is very large and is used for organising events and seminars.
Cafeteria
The university cafeteria facility is available for both the students and staff members. The menu of the cafeteria includes both south Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals at reasonable rates. The cafeteria is very large and can accommodate a large number of people.
Wifi
The campus is connected with both wired and wireless high-speed internet. Students and faculty members can access the internet facility for free. Video lectures are been conducted with the help of a good wi-fi connection.
Medical/Hospital
GITAM University medical clinic provides free medical facilities to the students, staff members and neighboring village people. On-campus dental college and hospital is also available. The university medical facility has qualified doctors and nurses and a 24X7 on-service ambulance.
Transport Facility
The university has a fleet of buses and both students and faculty members can avail the facility at nominal charges.
Laboratories
Every department of the university has its own laboratories, which are equipped with modern instruments. The laboratories give the students practical exposure to their subjects.

College Infrastructure

GITAM University of Vishakapatnam is having a good infrastructure and all necessary facilities provided to students then classrooms are more then 10 available sitting arrangements is seventy plus libraries also a good.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is good, with amenities like advanced labs and decent classrooms with good parks and resting areas. It also has a gym and sports ground with multiple games indoors and outdoors. classroom conditions can be better, but other departments had different buildings with better infra, Libarby is very good and AC.

This campus is full of greenary you could definitely love it

College Infrastructure

The college boasts cutting-edge infrastructure with well-furnished labs and a spacious library.The Wi-Fi connectivity is decent, but the hostel facilities are a bit cramped and need improvement ,but the infrastructure is okay for present time.
