Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam (SPMVV), Tirupati was established under the Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam Act of 1983 in 1983 by Sri N.T.Rama Rao, the then Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. The aim behind the establishment of this university was to train women students as better builders of the Nation. The campus spreads over 138.43 acres of land. SPMVV is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Currently, Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam offers undergraduate programmes (B.Ed., LL.B., B.P.Ed.), postgraduate programmes (M.Sc., MBA, Master of Commerce, MAJMC, M.A., LL.M., M.P.Ed., M.S.W.) and doctoral programmes to the students.

Clubs, Committees and Societies:
Literacy Club: Literacy club of Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam is for the literature lovers in the campus. The club often organises various interesting activities like language competitions, writing competitions, etc for the students. Anyone can participate in these competitions organised by the Literacy Club.
Cultural Club: Cultural club of SPMVV organises and manages all the cultural activities on the campus. This club organises events like dance competitions, singing battle, Slam poetry, Standup Comedy, etc. The club provides the opportunity to showcase their talent in front of everyone.

Health Centre: Health centre remains open for the students on campus. A group of doctors and nurses works 24*7 for students and take care of them when they are sick. Ambulance service is also there on the campus for emergencies.
Gym: Students of SPMVV can use the gym facility, provided by the university. Students who want to work on their body can join the gym. Trainer is also available in the gym to train the beginners.
- Indoor Stadium: There is an indoor stadium too on Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam Campus which is used to play various sports like basketball, volleyball, table tennis, carrom, badminton etc.
