Swarnim Gandhinagar Sports University PhD Admission Process 

• Candidates must satisfy the SGSU Ph.D. eligibility requirements and register themselves via the admission portal.

• The selection process consists of the candidates first taking an entrance test and then a group discussion and an interview. Candidates who have obtained more than 70% in UGC NET, CSIR UGC NET and the Gujarat State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) are not required to take the entrance test.

• The entrance test and PG qualifying exam are each given 40% weightage while group discussion, interview and sports achievement/medallist carry 10% each.

• The merit list is generated on the basis of the above criteria and the successful candidates are given admission to the SGSU Gandhinagar after document verification and fee payment.
