The university offers admission to diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University offers admission to more than 100 courses some of which are B.Com, B.B.A., B.Voc, M.Sc., M.B.A., Master of Urban Planning and others. Candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria for HNGU Patan admissions. Application forms are available on the official website. HNGU Patan UG admissions are offered on the basis of merit i.e marks obtained in the qualifying examination. Admission to BA, B.Com, B.Ed, BBA, BCA, B.Lib.I.Sc, B.Sc and others are offered based on 10+2 marks. It must be noted that B.Arch. aspirants need to sit and obtain valid scores in NATA conducted at the All India Level.

At the postgraduate level, the university offers admission to 62 courses. Admission to M.A., M.Com., Master of Library & Information Sciences, Master of Social Work, and Master of Physical Education is offered based on marks obtained in graduation. Students with valid scores in the MAT can apply for HNGU Patan M.H.M. admission. The HNGU also conducts an entrance for admission to M.H.M. Candidates aspiring for Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University M.B.A./M.C.A. admissions need to sit for CMAT followed by ACPC counselling. HNGU Patan Ph.D. admission is done based on an entrance test followed by an interview. GATE-qualified candidates need not appear for PhD Entrance Test.

HNGU Patan Ph.D. Admission Process

• Candidates willing to take admission Ph.D. at HNGU Patan must meet the eligibility criteria.

• Eligible candidates need to appear for an entrance test conducted by the university. The passing standard of the entrance examination shall be 50 % (a relaxation of 5% of marks to be allowed for those belonging to the SC/ST/OBC). Candidates having cleared the entrance test will be required to take an oral viva.

• Candidates who will be shortlisted based on their marks obtained in the entrance test will be notified to attend the interview/viva-voce. 

• Evaluation criteria will be 70 % of marks obtained in the entrance test and 30 % marks of presentation cum interview-viva-voce. 

• Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University Ph.D. admission is offered based on the performance in the entrance test, interview/viva-voce, document verification and payment of the fees.
