The infrastructure of MSU Vadodara is very good. There are clean classroom, smart board ,Library, Laboratory,Benches etc. Hostel facility is good. In the Library there are so many books.Canteen is so neat and clean.
Academics of MSU Vadodara is excellent because they have experienced and supportive faculties. Teaching staff of MSU Vadodara is best because they have many ways of teaching. They also arrange curriculum activities in the college.
Placement of Maharaja Sayajirao University of Vadodara is good because it is a government college. Students have big opportunity for job of Chartered Accountant. They give placement guidance in the seminars.
Because MSU Vadodara is a government college it has low fees and best education.
Campus life is great because the campus is surrounded by lush greenary and peaceful environment for students.
My experience with MSU Vadodara was excellent.
MSU Baroda's Faculty of Commerce infra is basic but solid gold for a govt uni-huge campus with everything you need without fancy extras. Classrooms are spacious with projectors for accounting lectures, fans/AC in key spots, and boards that don't ghost out. Commerce labs have computers for tally practice and stats software; not top-tier but reliable for group assignments. The library's legendary-massive, hi-tech with commerce journals, e-resources, and quiet zones open late for exam preps. Hostels are affordable (₹40 mess meals, clean rooms), sports fields for cricket/football, and a big auditorium for sem fests. Canteen's cheap chai-samosa heaven. Downsides? Some buildings feel old-school, Wi-Fi spotty in peaks, maintenance lags post-monsoon. But green lawns and walkable campus make it chill. Beats my coaching classes-practical for B.Com basics like business law. For 10k fees, it's unbeatable comfort.
B.Com at MSU Baroda's Faculty of Commerce is straightforward and strong on foundations—perfect launchpad for commerce careers or MBA like mine. 3 years, 6 semesters, 120 credits covering accounting, economics, stats, marketing, business law, taxation—specializations like Accounting & Finance or Banking Hons add edge. Faculty mixes pros (real CA examples in cost accounting) with routine readers; classes interactive via quizzes, projects on Indian economy. Exams fair: internals + endsems, merit-based entry (40-50% in 12th). No heavy attendance stress, but evals push application over rote. Fieldwork in co-op management or rural studies builds resumes. Library's gold for research papers. Downsides? Less electives than privates, outdated some electives. But rigor preps you for CA/CS or jobs—90% pass rates. I aced consumer behavior bits for retail dreams. Tier-1 uni quality at dirt-cheap fees.
Placements for B.Com at MSU aren't formal like MBA but solid via cell—60-70% get banking/retail jobs, avg 2.5-4 LPA starters (highest 6-8 LPA in finance). Firms like HDFC, local CA firms, Dmart recruits visit; alumni network shines for internships converting to roles. Training workshops on resumes, GDs, aptitude for commerce grads. Toppers snag Big4 audits or sales; avg folks hit back-office/banking. No mass recruiters, but campus drives + off-campus via skills. My batchmate got ICICI PO prep boost leading to job. Downsides? Not 100% like B-schools, focuses self-placement. For ₹8k fees, ROI insane—payback months. Better than local colleges; Vadodara location hooks Gujarat gigs without moving. Prep comms/projects, and you're employable. Grateful it opened MBA doors with strong basics. Real deal for freshers. (197 words
MSU Baroda B.Com is commerce's best bargain—₹7,230 (girls)/₹8,430 (boys) total or up to ₹21k in paid seats, hostels extra ₹1L/year. Covers tuition, library, sports—no shocks. Avg 3LPA jobs mean instant ROI vs privates charging ₹2L for basics. Scholarships for merit/SC-ST make it free-ish for many. Syllabus packs CA foundation-level accounting, econ without add-ons. Infra efficient: labs, fests included. Compared to my coaching hell (₹50k wasted), this is premium—huge uni perks at paise. Minor Wi-Fi gripes irrelevant. Ahmedabad folks save relocation cash too. For job market, unbeatable—banking/retail entry without debt. 10/10 bang-for-buck; funded my MBA. Pick if practical, not brand-obsessed.
MSU Baroda campus life for B.Com is fun, diverse, low-key—ideal for studies with Punjabi music breaks and tic-tac-toe in canteen. Massive green campus hosts commerce fests, cultural nights, sports weeks (cricket tourneys rule). Clubs for debate, commerce quizzes; I did skit on taxation fun. Canteen buzzes with cheap eats, group gossips. Mix of Gujaratis, outstation like me—Northeast dances, food swaps. No ragging, seniors guide entrances. Girls safe, inclusive events. Annual functions, guest CAs in auditorium. Downsides? Bureaucracy slows fests, 8 PM-ish curfews old-school, Wi-Fi crowds. Weekends: projects or IRCTC trains home. Not wild partying, but balanced unwind—friends forever, confidence for interviews. Vadodara malls nearby. Built my network perfectly.
It has one of the best infrastructure of a university within Gujarat, It has clean living space, WIFI, AC's and well maintained buildings. Even though the college is at the centre of the city. You can consider this college as highlight of Vadodara
In terms of academics college lacks behind a bit as even though the faculty has good knowledge about the field they usually do the work as they are just completing a given task and not with the motive to educate the class
Similar to Education we can there is no one to take responsibility of the placement coordination especially for the Bcom students, They have few auditoriums and randomly one day they will drop a message that they are conducting the interview today please be ready.
The Fee is extremely low for the students as when I graduated I paid only 7,000 a year for 3 years so based on ROI, college is good there are few things from where you can take necessary learnings but for that you need to take those steps on your own.
Campus life is good, They have enormous king sized and buildings which look more like a palace visit then a college, they have good facilities in terms of Canteens for each branch, Library, Auditorium and good culture.
The college has a beautiful campus. It has very well maintain labs, studios and classrooms. The college has a well stocked library. It is very prestigious college which probide practical knowldfor students for specialized courses.
The college has very good academic structure. The syllabus is also very relevant and updated. The curriculum involves theory and also architectural designa nd visual arts and more. The faculties here are also very supportive and understanding.
The college has good placement rate but mainly for engineering. It has average placement for B.arch. The college has a placement cell which helps students get placement in good companies. But B.arch is upon individual skill and talent.
The college has good value for money. It has comparatively lower fees than other private institutions. The college also has good infrastructure facilities and academic facilities. The faculties are also very supportive.
The college has very vibrant campus life. The campus is very beautiful with greenery and peaceful atmosphere. The college conduct many activities and events and inter university fests and competitions. The college provide many extracurricular activities for students apart from academics.
The infrastructure of MSU Vadodara has a very good infrastructure there is modern classrooms and there is smart board in each and every classroom there is computer lab in the field of mathematics there are very good faculty membersthere is a computer lab and there is a big Auditorium where all the function is being conducted. there is a big library where all the books are kept. there is also Wi-Fi facilities in each area of the college.
The academic of MSU Vadodara is very good the teacher and the faculty members are so good they interact with the students personally and always always look up to all the problems of the students to solve them they also provide the important questions related to exam point of view as you know the BSc mathematics is very tough subject they also help in various calculations and they solve all the questions on the board if any student have a doubt then they will personally solve the questions of the student. they also help the students to help in the placements and also conduct mock interviews. And aptitude test .
MSU Vadodara's overall placement for was around 19.3% for UG programs, with many BSc Math students often opting for higher studies but specific BSc Math placement rates aren't published; placements vary by department, with general UG roles averaging 3.5-5 LPA, but placements for BSc Math depend heavily on individual skills, higher education paths, and roles in finance/data after specialized training.
As you know that MSU University of Vadodara is a public college so the fees structure is might be considered very affordable.MSU Vadodara's M.Sc. Mathematics fees generally range from around ₹20,000 to potentially higher depending on specializations .
MSU Vadodara offers a vibrant campus life with a diverse student body, extensive facilities like hostels, sports grounds, auditoriums, and cultural venues, fostering a rich blend of academics, sports, and cultural activities in an urban setting, supported by international collaborations and a focus on holistic development. Students experience a dynamic environment with numerous short-term and long-term courses, events, and a strong sense of community, making it a prominent institution in Gujarat.
The college has a clean and well-maintained campus with all essential facilities available. Classrooms, labs, and the library are adequately equipped for everyday academic needs. Wifi and basic amenities function smoothly most of the time. Overall, the infrastructure is simple but reliable for a good learning experience.
The academic structure is well-organised, and the curriculum is updated to stay relevant to industry requirements. Most faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive, making the classroom experience engaging. Assessments are fair and help student stay consistent. Overall, academics are solid without being overly demanding.
Placement opportunities are decent, with a mix of mid level companies visiting the campus each year. While top tier packages are limited most student who actively prepare are able to secure roles related to their fields. the placement cell is supportive, though there's still room to strengthen industry connections. Overall, placements are satisfactory for a three star rating.
the university offers strong value for the fees charged, especially considering the quality of academics and campus facilities. most services are accessible without extra costs, which makes the overall experience fell worthwhile. For the opportunities provided, it definitely feels like a justified and rewarding investment.
campus life is decent, with a fair number of events and student activities happening throughout the year. The environment is friendly, though not extremely vibrant or fast paced. students can enjoy a good mix of academics and leisure, but theres scope for more clubs and engagement initiatives.
Yeah, It has all the decent, facilities that a student needs for studying. The benches are quiet good and spacious my buildings canteen was not working so we used to go to other buildings nearby to our building.
I was studying bachelor of commerce, because I had a background of commerce since my 11 standard in schooling days. Teaching quality was also good the syllabus was covered under times. I do not know or have opinions about other points.
There isn’t any placements from the college side in bachelors of commerce degree. So mostly people go and try for masters degree form the same university or other universities. Within the city or outside.
The course is value for money in my opinion because the fees is good because it matches everything related to the fees of the college. It costed 14 thousand in my building but other buildings has it for 7 thousand.
Campus life is okayish because the number of students is very high and very less people come to attend the classes as compared to the overall students admitted in the college. So sometimes it is hard to make good friends.
The college campus is very vast and has outstanding architecture. It is covered in greenery providing a wonderful environment for students. Technological facilities in science department, huge ground.
The university is acquipped with various departments offering students diverse fields of specialization under the guidance of well qualified faculty. The university has various nationally and internationally known aluminies
Various departments offer placements after the completion of bachelor's degree. Well known Companies are invited to offer jobs to students soon after their graduation. Also internships are provided in various fields.
Being a government college it is totally value for money.

The professors are very experienced and supportive they do not just teach from the book they share real world examples which make learning interesting the circular means little bit old but college offers workshop to cover name so the exams are challenging and fair.
The college has a solid placement record around 85% of students in our best secure job on campaigns visit the campus for the recruitment and the average salary was competitive for our field the placement cell was very helpful to me throughout the process.
We feel that the police provide great value for money the fees are reasonable compared to other colleges with similar offerings the quality of Education combined with good campus facilities and placement opportunity make it worthwhile investment in our future.
