36 MonthsAs a programme, Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) was started by University of Mumbai in 1999. Jai Hind College was one of the first colleges in Mumbai to have started it and from that moment, it is constantly at the forefront in the sphere of BMS.
As an undergraduate Management programme, which is looked up to by the students as a repertory for MBA as well as Entrepreneurial training, BMS’ curriculum is very contemporary and its emphasis on practical aspects of Management along with theory is well appreciated. Known for its illustrious record of accolades, and its suave and smart graduates, Jai Hind BMS is continuing its legacy forward as another year progresses.
The achievements of the students in the previous year were admirable and extracurricular were a joy to watch as this was a very successful year as far as performance in inter-collegiate festivals is concerned where the students were given an opportunity to get an impetus for holistic development along with academic learning
On the academic front too Jai Hind BMS students have performed exceedingly well at University exams.
A candidate for being eligible for admission to the B.M.S. The program shall have passed H.S.C. Examination of the Maharashtra Board of Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination, or Diploma in any Engineering branch with two/three years duration, after S.S.C. conducted by the Board of Technical Education, Maharashtra State, or its equivalent examination from other Boards by securing minimum 45% marks for general category (in one attempt) at the respective examination and minimum 40% marks for the reserved category (in one attempt).
Admission of students into the Autonomous Degree Program of the Institution is based on merit, the marks secured in the preceding Standard XII Examination of H.S.C. Board or its equivalent is the parameter unless otherwise prescribed.
There are no sports facilities but the classes are new and well equipped and there is no hostel facility in the campus the buildings are too small and doesn’t feel like you are in a college. There are is no wifi facility.
